The random window disappearance isn't really a Crucible issue per se. I've experienced it for Incarna as well - albeit at a much lesser frequency.
With the Crucible patch, the frequency that this happens is very debilitating. |

No that really doesn't work - Alt-Tab or mouse click's all the same. You can probably reduce the frequency/chance of it happening by simply not doing any alt-tabbing or not opening any of the ingame windows - which both are very diffficult to do.
Clearing cache is also a waste of time (and diskspace - since the old cache folder's just renamed to a backup).
The only other thing I noticed is when you run it during the quiet hours (around 0600-1200 EVE), it tends to be more stable (and faster). There's something going around in the background that's just jerking off the UI - freezing it intermittently sometimes. |

Things I went through : - cleared cache (via ESC) - disabled "Resource Cache Enabled" - fullscreen : interval 3 -Nvidia 7300GT (128MB), driver 280.26
Disappearing windows still happens (with Alt-Tab) BUT their persistence seems to be less fatal. Where previously you had no choice but to kill the client, now you can just do multiple Alt-Tab to attempt to fix it.
One other issue that's possibly related is the intermittent game freezes (lasting from 5-20secs) which happens just about anywhere you go. FPS drops to almost zero during these events. In some cases, if freeze time > 1min, the system crashes with BSOD nv4 display driver not responding/or looping.
Frequency for that has increased since the Crucible patch, but it was first seen with Incarna (which didn't really warrant raising the issue).
Have anyone else encountered these freezing episodes? |

Problem still persists after Crucible 1.0.1 patch. Alt-tabbing is still the main primary cause for this issue.

Confirming SISI bld 325367 seems to have fixed the issue or at least increased the stability for my case. We'll know more when it gets fully deployed Wed.
