No 3) Do you mission run regularly? yes 4) Do you mine regularly? no 5) Are you an industrialist? no 6) Why empire and not low sec? Could find very few alliances that would take a brand new empire corp. and match the same values as our charter. 7) Why empire and not 0.0?
a. Easier to find and recruit new members especially new EvE players. b. Easier to learn all most aspects of the game, the market, and basic/medium pilot skills without interruption. c. Easier for us as a corp. to help new members work their way up in ship styles. d. Easier for us as a corp. to slowly build up a corp. wallet, corp. resources, and a decent fleet to later move into 0.0 space and establish ourselves.
8) Do you belong to an alliance? Yes
9) Do you belong to a player corp? Yes 9a) How many people active in your corp? 15
10) Do you plan to enter 0.0 or live in 0.0 anytime in the future? Yes, we have found a possible alliance and am planning the move now.
11) Do you make trips into 0.0 for any reason? More than once a month? No
Thank you. The point of this is simply to get a handle on the reasons the vast majority of people spend time in empire, rather than 0.0. I'm an alt, so that politics need not be a part of this. I'm also a 0.0 alliance player, so you can understand where I'm coming from. If you can add something usefull, do so.
If you are a 0.0 player, please keep the comments constructive, this is for information gathering only. Plenty of other places to flame.
I would just like to say that while I hear alot of complaining from 0.0 corps. I see VERY LITTLE being done to change this other than scream for nerfs and requests to force players into 0.0 space. Instead of trying to facilitate new players and new corps entrance into 0.0 space they would complain. Some groups like EvE Univ. were a great help to the EvE online community but they were eventually forced out which became a serious blow to potential new players.
You want new players to move out of Empire space? You'll have to show them its worth the hassle. Because right now all anyone ever hears is just how much cannon fodder they'll be if they come down. Geez, and you wonder why they stay up there.
