Given how, finally, T3 are to be rebalanced this whole thread about which T3 to aim for is probably quite useless. On top of that none of the T3 are actually GOOD for mission running, some are ok but not on par with other, more normal, options. You also can't use them in most high sec combat sites. |

This game is about specialization. Use the best hull for it's purpose. We don't use Rokhs in L4s, we use gals ships because they're better.

Tengu does not warp any different. I fly all 4 and right now Proteus is my favorite. The only one that can fit a covert sub and not gimp DPS too badly. |

Dont know about Loki or Tengu but Prot has a small warp speed increase with one of it's subs, though it's only 1 au/s faster than any other T3.
Any ship can fit nanofibers or inertial stabs, so don't even worry about it.
If you're flying a T3 you're not doing it for the warp speed or agility.

I was not precise, it align faster than any other t3 with similiar fit (in my case: nullified covert cloaky non combat explorer). As i said difference is less than 1 s. Both proteus and tengu have gravitational capacitor subsystem which allows to warp in close to 5AU.

To those uninitiated amongst us.......
Proteus and Tengu both can fit a Gravitational Capacitor propulsion Subsystem.
This gives them a basic warp speed of 4.9 Au/s. I fit a T2 hyperspacial rig and a 15% warp speed implant in my ratting T3's and the warp at 7 Au/s. This cuts down on all the time warping between belts to nothing. It also lets you vastly outrun anyone chasing you (inty's excepted).
A ful HG Ascendency implant set will give you 10 Au/s in that setup too... It's insane |
