EVE.... pretty good game..... ect ect....
Ive been active a some years now, but there is one thing that has annoyed me the last years. After flying thru most of the regions and tried almost everything, ive reduced my Activity to just do marked orders... Why? I really miss "happenings" that will change my approach on how to play, navigate and fight.... The static enviroment is the birthplace for boredom. After waiting and watching the forum for some years, it struck me long time ago, that EVE wont change much and the forumtrolls rule the forum. Kudos to the trolls :D
One thing that i do find interesting, is when actually players organize and bomb Jita, they do make a change that have an impact on players endless neverchanging routines. Please keep up the good work! :D
Is there a purpose to this post? not really, just felt like posting it. |

In Eve, the static environment develops from doing the same thing over and over.
It can be hard once you get into a routine, but the best way to avoid boredom is to do something different. There is so much to do in this game at multiple levels from direct play to the metagame. There's really no reason you should become bored and not be able to find a way out of that.

Ive tried most of the Things thats possible to do in EVE and its all routine. But if CCP change the enviroment like today its safe, tomorrow ure fu.... cuz Sansha struck the system you reside in. The basic idea is like one day ure sailing on a calm sea, NeXT day all hell has broken loose ;)

I bought new carpeting for my entire house. When I wore my awesome wool socks during this winter, it was a very static environment, and was never boring!
I shocked the cat with my finger so hard that shot itself into the closed bathroom door at ludicrous speed. Although I didn't see it, im sure the cat was seeing plaid for a while.
Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Everything has been explored, well before we even started (going on lore here) adding in a new envirorment will get old. So that's not your issue.
I have been to Hawaii 4 times, and stayed a week each time, done lots of things there, but tis not really boring.
I have also lived in so cal (when I did) for 12 years, done lots of things there, saw the same roads, the same sights, the same people, but it was not boring.
Eve is boring because you make it boring. it took be a whopping 9 years before I got REMOTLY bored of eve. The past 2 have been hit and miss, but tis my own doing and I know this.
Eve is like real life. You are bored because well, you are boring. Its really that simple. And the "I have done everything" is horse crap.
Have you tried pving in a mining barge? done a battle badger? how about porsusefully tried to run a gatecamp with nothing but speed mods? I mean there are a million things oyu can do that outside of the same box.
Have you ran a corp or an alliance?
and if you have, have you stopped and just went back to taking orders?
See.. I just gave you a few things to try. Just because a system might have something new in it, you will get bored of it in a few weeks. Change your attitude
