its more like 2.5-3bil if u count all the fittings.
its probably alot more than 8months to be able to properly fly one aswell.

These are about the normal speeds of a ship after 2 bursts with mwd. So dread will go like 500 m/s?? Dont know if anyone has seen the range of those blasters..but they are pretty far out
A revelation can get up to ~700m/s already so a capital mwd would make it go even faaaaster nice.
With a decent setup cribba? i dont think so..maybe with a full rack of overdrives and x-type 100mn mwd.
It wont have any use, because the falloff and optimal of capital guns is faaar to great to make 500m/s be of any use. If they used stargates yes!, but they jumpdrive anyway.

Signed, mostly for capital capboosters and capital NOS tho as its the only real counter to NOS.
Agility mods arent really needed. CCP just have to fix the fact that frigs, cruisers and BSs can bumb a capital ship out of warp if it has like 5 webbers on it.
oh, and it should have been places in features and ideas forum :)

I was thinking about this a while ago.
High slot Point Defense System.
3 version, vs Small, Medion & Large targets.
Activate module, and it will auto engage every hostile target within range. Locking targets not required.
We've all seen capital ships in Sci-Fi movies littered with small turrets putting out a hail with suppressive fire. Thats what this is.

That still screws over carriers, unless the point defense mods werent counted as turrets. At the moment, you cant even fit a launcher with defenders on a carrier (not that defenders work anyway).
