More internets if they give them different modes, even a bit of variety would be great.
Minmatar for example:
Speed mode: +speed, +inertia
Brawler mode: +RoF, + shield boost
GTFO mode: +warpcore, +warp speed (-all targets)
There is so much room for inventiveness, please don't make them four times the same ship.

Vertical would be so nice for diversity.
Give it a nice sharp aggressive look, it should look sleek, like the confessor you guys at ccp did an excellent job.
regardless i remember seeing the concept on eve vegas, or fanfest , you guys made the minmatar t3 have a little **** tail like the nestor, that is a big nono. |

. (Roughly) horizontal
. Animation of parts falling off as you burn away. After about 5 minutes of sustained burning, you're left in your pod
2. Menacing Mode
. Vertical and sideways, like my silly cat when he wants to look larger than he actually is
. All the parts separate, remaining just loosely attached to eachother, to make the ship look even bigger
3. Stealth Mode

These need drawbacks, for stealth mode it would have to become vulnerable to salvaging modules. And in menacing mode it would have to lose all armor and hull once it separates. Horizontal mode... fairly balanced, as long as extra duct tape in the cargohold doesn't act like a repair module. |

The animation for speed mode should have flapping wings, and defense mode should have it wraps the wings around it protectively.
I find that without a good mob to provide one for them, most people would have no mentality at all.

Could be cool to not only give it animations but also make it swing into different positions. Vertical for defense mode, and then swing into horizontal like a catalyst for attack mode. It would be like a B-wing from Star Wars. Then transform into long pointy speed mode and look more like the confessor in shape. That would be the harder mode/animation to pull off and have it look good.
Anyway, the Minmatar destroyer design is likely already finalized by now. |

Apostrophes in front of an attached s are only used if the word is utilized in a possessive sense.
Examples:
Dual wielding Uzis does not make any sense.
The Uzi's burst fire mode is somewhat unreliable in the sense that it may fire bursts even when the selector switch is set to single fire. |

The thing is, it does require meticulous maintenance as the bolt is held in the rear position by a hook that's subject to wear. If it's worn down enough, the jolt from letting it fall to the ground may very well be sufficient to cause the bolt to slide forward. If the grip safety for any reason fails to prevent the bolt from doing that, the gun will empty its mag.
The stigma is mostly rooted in the early versions not having said grip safety in the first place. |

Well if they make the minny one vertical then odds are the gallente will be ugly like the catalist and bird like for caldari.
Either way if they give each of them different modes then that would be awesome no matter what design they have..personaly i play on low setings so it makes no difference to me.

It doesn't require you to switch the safety off and simply dropping it onto a mattress can be enough to set it off.

You mean the versions mostly used by various militaries? The ones with two weak pins instead of one solid one (IIRC)? The versions that sold well? Those versions? |

I've tried it, I've seen others try it (admittedly with blanks), nothing happened.
The first symptom is firing in single fire mode and the gun ends up firing a two-round burst because the bolt doesn't catch on the first recoil. |

66.3% probability hostile ships can not get a target lock due to high build-up of Rust.
90% probability of pod ejecting when entering warp due to lack of structure keeping it in

Tbh, I'm scared shitless of the upcoming T3 dessies, they're going to mess up balance so hard it's not even funny. The amarr one isn't that much of an issue but an LML T3 dessie or, god forbid, a drone one would just poop all over other ships like crazy.
They'd either have to be prenerfed into the ground or they'll be bullshit OP, there really is no middle ground and I'm half inclined to think we'd be better off if they wouldn't be introduced at all. |

They already have a frigate that's vertical. That didn't look bad. (Didn't look good but it's Minmatar after all)
I'm glad they are going with these "stealth plane designs" for these T3 ships unlike the Tier 2 destroyers which appear to have drawn upon the designs of 20th century submarines (I think somewhere in that is an inside joke about the game). No "Monitor versus Merrimack" this time around.
