Hi there fellow pod pilots,
This is a public thread designed to air and catalouge instances of poor and substandard customer care from ccp.
This is designed to bring to light to what extent people have been fobbed off, disregarded or just plain dismissed.
So please if you could post your experiences and be as truthfull and comprehensive as possilble. Also this thread is for real examples of poor customer service not just, 'i went into ammake and my ship got blown up and ccp wont give me a new one'

With recent ongoing server problems, the number of petitions has swelled drastically.
CCP are already trying to fix the problem by hiring on more personnel. Crying about it won't make that process any faster. ----

But it's still irritating when you have had a petition open for 4 months, then when it gets answered they say that they gave your ship back.

Whilst I have had experiences which I feel fall into this category I thought we were not allowed to discuss such things on the forums, they have to be aired direct with CCP.

I think you'll find that CCP are aware of the fact that not every petition is successfully answered by their existing system and that there are flaws which need to be looked at. People are told time and time again, who to e-mail about problems and that posting on the forums will not do any good. This thread will not do any good.
This thread will not collect any useful data that I can see. Not every eve player uses the forums, so the statistical value of anything posted here will be suspect and in any case the individual problems relating to each case are more than likely to be unique (for example the returned ship that hasn't been) and would require CCP to look at them on a case by case basis. In which case the parties concerned would be directed to e-mail CCP at the various addresses.
So really all this thread is is an invitation for people to come ***** about what they perceive as CCPs bad customer service.

40 days to get an answer to petition, and i have 2 other loss petitions to file due to losses from bugs, not lag.
I've been playing a while and have over 20 million skill points and have seen a lot of problems arise from patches so that's to be expected. They did change the code of the game with this last patch, so they have their plates full, but quite honestly i'm just tired of the slow service or no service and bugs. I hate whining, but i've about had it with the whole thing.

I've had no trouble with CCP's customer service. I've only petitioned a couple of times over lost ships and items. Just after Exodus I lost an Iteron 5 with 5 local hulls on it to Customs and I wasn't carrying any illegal items. Another time my apoc was pwnt by sentry guns in a .4 system 40 minutes after my aggression timer should have expired. The GM's checked them out and sorted everything for me with only a few days wait. Recently I asked a couple of questions through the petition system (can't go into detail obviously) and they answered within a week or so. Overall my personal experience has been quite good. ---

The case is open for arround 3 weeks but finaly i got an answer today: "We are sorry that you lost your SHIP, blabla blabal, we cannot reimburse our logs do not show a ****e, again we are sorry that you lost your SHIP". I think its realy sad that they didnt feel reading my petition at all. Probably they would have noticed then that my petition was not about a lost ship...

you can discuss petitions as a subject, but you can not diclose content from communications of a petition.

in my 4 years of playing eve I have never had a problem with customer care, I really don't see why people whine so much.
Maybe people go out playing when the lag is bad and loose their stuff. imho that is idiocy. Lag=probable daeth, if you don't want to die move region or do something different.

So you had a petition to get items returned that you trashed of your own accord?
This is why the petition queue is so long, its full of idiots that don't understand the petition system. You should not be reimbursed for your incompetence -_-

im still waiting on a answer for rreimbursement of 5467 isk it took to repair my hauler when the system crashed 2x. my tanker got booted off and when hauler came up the rats pounced on him
its only 5k but its the principle and yes i want that 5k isk back lol

Maybe CCP is finally making peole accept their actions? Hopefully next they'll stop constantly refunding every ship lost to a mission NPC unless there's a serious problem (like blowing up while being towed into dock ).
There's no way you can possibly expect CCP to reimburse something you trash.

judging by how they ignore a lot of peaved and heated voices on the forums at this time (over the exploits...I ment "valid features" being used), I tend to think CCP does ignore the forums, and only post when they have more propaganda...I ment "news" to spread to the comrads...
