Since there isn't one around at the moment, and I was talking to a friend about what bonuses we'd be expecting for the new Tier 2 BCs, let's see what others are expecting.
Caldari Drake - 5% Kinetic Missile Damage and either 5% ROF (hopefully) or 5% missile precision (more likely). Amarr Betrayal - 5% ROF and -10% Cap usagage for medium energy turrets. Minmatar Hurricane - 5% Proj. ROF, and either 5% damage (godly), 5/7.5%/10% Falloff (5% maybe), or 5% velocity (ZOMG big stabber) Gallente Myrmidon - 5% med hybrid damage and +50m3 per level drone bay, OR 5-10% drone damage and +50m3 drone bay (awesome).
Since the Tier 1 BCs are mostly tank based, it'd be nice to get some good gank action going on with these babies.
Maybe 6-7 turrets for the Amarr BC, 6-7 for the Minnie, 4-5 for the Gallente and maybe 6-7 launchers for the Drake?
What is everyone else thinking?

Seriously, with the req for those ships (BC 2, they're tier 2), that would mean a dronebay bigger than those of almost every battleship ... on a battlecruiser ... a bit too much, IMHO.
Check the Ishtar please.
Perhaps 50 would be a bit much, but the +drone bay does occur on a few ships, Ishkur as well.

Hopefully the Myrmidon doesn't have the OMGHUGE number of high slots, just to prevent it from becoming a cheaper nosdomi.

I trained Amarr specs first. I want Amarr turret boats that can do it all. Tank, gank etc.
If I want missiles or drones, I'll switch to a Gallente ship or Caldari ship.
If the Amarr get any ship that is even remotely close to a Khanid design (missiles etc) I will flip out and kill someone.
For hardpoints, the turret ones will not get 8 slots. Prolly 6 for the Hurricane, maybe 7. Amarr will almost definitely be 7 with a utility slot. Caldari will be 6 or 7 launchers, hard to say.
As for the Gallente, I'm hoping, hoping that it either has:
a) Very low PG, and a bunch of highs. So it cannot be another I-Win button (nosrmidon) b) 4-5 High slots, and enough grid for a tank etc.
Hopefully we don't get a BC version of Domi in 1 vs 1. But hopefully it will be a good droneboat.

What's from stopping you from training Gallente now? I've got all cruiser and 5 and have all gunnery specs at 4. Screw super-ultra specialization. Go for whats easier and more fun in the long run. Variety 4tw.

I mistook your post then.
I generally don't mind the changes in power when it comes to balance, mostly because I can just switch ships. But I really haven't put any effort into anything that I feel very attached too, with the except of the lackluster-ness the Amarr are showing nowadays.
But yeah, Tier 2 BCs 4tw!
