Originally a tenet of the reductionist philosophy of nominalism, it is more often taken today as a heuristic maxim that advises economy, parsimony, or simplicity in scientific theories. Occam's razor states that the explanation of any phenomenon should make as few assumptions as possible, eliminating those that make no difference in the observable predictions of the explanatory hypothesis or theory. The principle is often expressed in Latin as the lex parsimoniae (law of succinctness): entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem, which translates to: *Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity.* OCCAM'S RAZOR COMBINE We are an experienced, small-size, growing, reshaped, tight grown corporation, a mature and laid back group with very friendly atmosphere but with solid structure and leadership. We have members from the European, North American and Pacific time zones, providing active corp chat, teamspeak and activities almost 23/7. We have gone through a total transformation to become a purely 0.0 operating corp, and we will build up the infrastructure enabling us to live a lucrative and near 100% self sufficient 0.0 life. In order to achieve in our goals we are looking more enterprising individuals, who are not afraid of long-term planning and who are willing to commit themselves to teamwork to further the corporate goals, not without making a tidy profit on the side. Individuals applying are required to possess a good understanding of the game, with at least 5,000,000 combat orientated skill points under their belts. Discipline, maturity, teamwork, a polite and open attitude and respect for others and their viewpoints are expected from each candidate. We are only looking for team players, as our corp does not need rogue-type members looking for solo play. What are we searching for? - Combat pilots With varied levels of experience, for security & combat operations within 0.0 space. Providing scouting, intelligence, and security for our mining & logistics operations, as well as general arse-whooping fun with constant hostile forces presence, are the key activities for our combat pilots. We work very closely under our alliance's Fleet Command together with other member corps, to assist in patrols and fleet operations. If you look for supply of hostile targets, look no further... We can provide a challenging PvP career, and have interesting positions available in combat command, leadership and training. - Miners, Haulers and Traders We also looking for members who likes to focus for production & supply roles, during times when the hostile activities slows down around our home systems. We looking members with extensive skills to operate and fulfill scheduled projects even under constant hostilities, aiming for solid knowledge how to run corp operations and business in 0.0 space. But keep in mind that all our members are required to take a part sometimes with PvP operations, none of the professions within ORC is considered fully non-combat!
