I joined 3 weeks back and I just thought I say what a nice mature relaxed bunch of people they are. Being quite new to the game i have asked many dumassed questions all have been answered with good grace.

Hello all,
I would like to join. I have been playing for about 4 months or so.I recently came back from a 5 7 month leave due to problems outside the game, but now I am back, I do not have much to offer because i gave my old clan members everything i had when I left due to the fact I wasnt sure I would be back, i have a little over 1mil sp right now. I know not much but It will get there. I am dedicated and will help out to the best of my abuility.

3.5 mil Skills here. All learnings, caldari starships, electronics, engineering, gunnery and missiles. Starting in on leadership and others.
I'm bored, and I want to be able to PVP or run ops inbetween doing boring missions.
I'm 26, and play when I can, definitely not hardcore.
Can you help?

My main's have been in Tides of Silence for the last 3 mths now, and a nicer bunch of people you could not hope to meet. Currently we find ourselves in a lot of PVP, as our alliance (Hydra) is defending its space in 0.0 again incursions. I can 100% vouch for the fact that you can get promotion and noticed in this Corporation if that floats your boat. I for instance have been made recruitment officer and also been given alliance related roles. Tides atmosphere is very relaxed and the CEO and directors have been very supportive as I found my feet in EVE. The CEO was so kind to actually sponsor me though my trial processes! Anything I needed help with has be provided, the most dumb arse questions answered gracefully, I remember fondly being given ISK by a CORP member out of the blue when I lost a ship in the early days but that is way it is in TOS.
The CORP is entirely run for the benefit of the members, shares are buyable and regular but small dividends are paid. We have access to free T1 PVP ships, and the ability to self produce almost anything from the 100Ęs of Blue Prints the corporation has set up for the members to use. CORP chat is always friendly, with the gentle banter you would expect from a CORP that has the majority of itĘs players 30years old or greater. You can expect between 20-40 on line in the in corp channel at anyone time.
We have a few Capital ships and are working on building more together; anyone who wanted to join at this level would be warmly welcomed. I would take that as all we are looking for though, as our empire hub, is an idea starting ground for less experience players; from this hub we run PVP nights / mining ops and Mission nights weekly, so most nights you should find stuff to do. The personally of the player is so much more important to us than his eve assets or experience and the application process reflects that.
One particular aspect of TOS is as the vast majority of us have family commitments we have golden rule of no compulsory operations ever!
