How does pilots running away in battle (which i doubt anyway) have anything to do with and internal order concerning AAA?
issuing orders infers internal discipline..

If BoB has a titan, then CCP has ****** up in its statement. Its not like they only have 2 choices of either congratulating ASCN on the first titan or saying, nice job, but someone else built one first.
Third option, which CCP should have taken if BoB indeed has a titan is just to STFU and say nothing.
Note I am not saying BoB have or do not have a titan. Don't know, don't really care.
As for the conflict, its gonna be interesting. Aside from the lag, its probably going to be whoever gets the best bandwagon will win. BoB has a lot of enemies, ASCN has a lot of enemies, so I'll guess we'll see how it turns out.

When it comes to "news" items like this, I would always be of the opinion that CCP should follow "player knowledge"..
ASCN were the first to announce a player built titan. CCP can accept this on face value, without checking the DB on what ships are built or not. To say or do anything else (including nothing) would be seen as interfering in ingame conflicts
