The way people interact in this game is very important when it comes down to the "nut cutting" so-to-speak. Threatening accomplishes little. Supporting accomplishes quite a lot.
If ASCN leadership is worried about folks cutting and running, then that says something about the corporations ASCN recruits into it's fold, does it not? It also says something about how the leadership treats the membership, does it not?
Did you not just say before that it was understood that blacklisting a corp that runs/doesn't fight when the times are tough is something that WILL happen in every alliance?
If that is so then you are simply reading too much into it. It's just a simple fact that was simply said out loud just in case there was confusion in the matter. That's all.
Again...why are we wasting bandwidth on this trivial matter?

Oh, and just so you know. We do not post crappy threats like that on our forums. Of course, we do not expect folks to cut and run when the heat gets cranked up either. The CODA wars should have told everyone in Eve that.
