What to do while you are mining? well here is a poem i made.

Orkki Clankisov Gallente The Eye of Horus	Posted - 2006.09.30 16:28:00 - [1] i hope you like it. i made it about the caldari gallente war. leave comments preferably like grades like 0-10 and be HONEST :P to the new eden we came. started to make our way. soon we grew in fame. and new plans we would lay. stations in the sky. soon there would be titans too. soon war started no one knew why. until they stopped to argue. peace was once again. between the two factions. now there were corporation men. who showed great reactions. starting to sell all over. with friends and old enemys alike. selling a shuttle rover. completely unlike. the other factions. who showed nothing else. then killing actions. with a vessel.

Since when did lasers start to transport things? To make mining more active, the laser should make ore split up from the asteroid. Ok for aluminum and other metals that readly have an ionic form but what about iorn and so on ok so i'm on a long trip and bored.. oh and the poem as 5/10 i've deifnalty heard worse All the right letters - just not nessacarily in the right order

But that's not the point, the lasers don't have to ionize anything. They can simply break the bonds between the atoms and transport the constituent parts, reassembling the rock in the hold. Doing so merely requires an immense amount of power (and CPU time to devote to analysis of the rock structure and bonding). Since the rocks in EVE are at least passingly named for real-world rock types (Feldspar, Gneiss, Pyroxeres, etc.), and those types are assembled primarily of silicate groups, we can assume their bonding is molecular, rather than ionic (exceptions being the mafic series; it still doesn't explain the prolific entrance of tritanium into the bonding patterns).
