Tomorrow, Tuesday October 3rd, we will need your help again. We would will need about 100-200 pilots to assist with testing and information gathering about Stargate Jumping related node issues. This information will help us find the cause of the node issues that have been occurring during Fleet operations where one group jumps into a heavily populated system, or a large number of jumps happen in a very short period of time.
This test will take place on the Singularity server (currently running the same version as TQ) at 11:00 GMT, during downtime. We will need at least 100 pilots to properly test this. Those that wish to participate in testing should log into Singularity prior to testing and join the in-game channel ôPOS stress testö before 11:00 GMT to be moved to the test system. The market will have been seeded with plenty of ships and fittings already.
To help answer questions that IÆm sure will come up, I will outline the basics here. Please read them over if you are interested in helping so that you are already aware of how things will work and this test runs as smoothly as possible.
+ Unlike last time ganging is not needed so this should run a lot faster than the test on Saturday.
+ Pilots should have a good mix of ship types, but NO capital ships.
+ Expect the testing to last about 1 hour, this will definitely be shorter than the POS test was.
+ You will be expected to follow all directions given by myself or any of the CCP/ISD team while participating in this test. It is vital that we do this right so we get useful dataà and we need your cooperation to make that happen,
+ Singularity is currently running the same version as Tranquility so no patching is needed, simply select Singularity from the drop down menu and then login to your character as you would normally.

If your account is disabled on Sisi AND you are 100% sure you will help with this test I can re-enable your Singularity account.
Note: No updates of skills or spawning of faction ships/modules will be done so do not ask.
Also, I reserve the right to not enable any account, for any reason. This is not something we normally do, so please do not expect it to be done at other times aside from when we do mirrors.
To get yourself re-enabled simply post here with a character on teh account that needs to be enabled and be patient... you may not be able to login to Sisi until tomorrow so don't panic.

Truthfully i'd suggest not posting your account names here, just you character name, it could end up to be really bad

The point of having it at this time is twofold. We have the whole office at work, so we can have the full team analyzing the situation.
Second, it's not often we are able to reproduce performance related issues on Singularity - so to get enough people there to reproduce the issues, we do it at the time when most people decide to check out Singularity, during TQ downtime.

I prefer to try to keep mass-testing like this to when Tranquility is down.. that way it has the least impact to your gameing time

If enough people sho w up and keep wanting to help us, then yes, I will likely be doing more of these. Especially if you guys can be just as patient and follow direction as well as you did on saturday. I was impressed!

All inactive accounts that have been requested have been re-enabled.
58 minutes till the test begins.
FYI: accounts that have been created since hte last mirror do not exist yet on Singularity so cannot be enabled.

I'll also add that this test will take place in the same location as the last test.. so if you still have your character there from this weekend you're already in position to help :)

Thanks again for a smooth test. Aside from a couple people you guys all exceeded my expectations, followed direction quite well and did your part to help us get these issues tested like this. I really can't thank you enough. Stuff like this is why I will always say EVE has the best players out of any game out there!
Given how helpfull you guys have been the last 2 I've decided to do another test as well in the next couple of days. Please keep an eye out for another stress test post on the forums for more info. As usual it will begin during downtime.
On a side note, I do not need logserver files from this test. all data we need is server-side this time. Thanks much to everyone who ran logserver and offered to send files though.. it's a very good habbit to get into.

The test has to be postponed.
Sisi was put to a different version last night for internal testing, that testing revealed some issues that we will need to resolve before we continue with the stress testing.
I appologize for the delays, I would have posted about this earlier, but I wanted to see if we might get things done in time to run the tests.. that did not happen.
I will be making a new post when we've finished sorting things out and the stress testing can resume. Please know that this means testing is postponed NOT cancelled. We still want to get the stress testing rolling again it will just be a little longer than we'd hoped. Thank you for your understanding.
