It's been said that the doomsday gun can fire from different systems via a cyno. Would it be possible to fire it off from low sec/0.0 and have it hit a target in high security?
If so do you think Concord would show up in 0.0? Would the pilot lose security status? If they didn't this would be an incredible way to dominate the EVE universe.

I dont think you can generate a Cynossual field in high sec. Im pretty sure Ive tried and recieved a failure message stating that it wasnt permitted.

Besides you cant open a cynofield in high sec anyway -------

ive seen many systems with more than one cyno fields in them. also i think you need to be in the same system to fire it

Pretty sure a Dev stated the DDD can only be activated in 0.0 space.

Theres currently a bug with cnyo's at the moment that leaves them in system and on the map but unusable lot of people have been using them to mark station insta's

there are many rumors about a titan. here are the facts that know.
1.it can only shoot its superweapon in one system. either at it self of through a cyno in the same system.
2.the range of the superweapon is 500km from what i have last herd, so us snipers will get pawned.
3. dreads carriers can survive the superweapon, and in a 1v1 dread v titan, dread would win if i titan couldn not escape.
4. one rumor i herd is that a titan can kill structures in a pos, at one point on the test server it was true to what i hear. but not it only damages the shield A LITTLE BIT.
one thing i would like to know is how the jump portal works, and how much fule costs are going to be for a raven, and which player will get the cost the titan or the raven Sig removed, please do not post pictures of animal cruelty even as a joke and yes i read the part about it being your cat, email [email protected] if you have any questions - Xorus BTW THATS IS MY KITTY |

The jump portal stuff is afaik bugged atm and does not work. Hopefully it gets fixed for kali.

I'm fairly sure we were talking about the thing that lets a titan jump a whole fleet of non capital ships from 1 system to another with it, not the normal jump drive stuff that dreads/carriers/MOs get. Jump bridge i think its called, only titans can use it.

Thats crazy talk! In a 1v1 match the titan wins hands down, more cap, bigger shields, more armour, bigger drone bay, SIX Capital turrets and a super weapon... Or are we talking about a Jove Dreadnought here?

Dreads can survive the superweapon? Err... Unless i'm doing some math wrong even my Jaguar can survive a EMP superweapon. And my jaguar has basically no tank, just a medium extender and a DCU.
Judgement 37,500 EMP damage.
1745 shields at 76 EMP, 62 Explo, 44 Kin, 62 Thermal 487 armor at 93 EMP, 19 Explo, 32 Kin, 70 Thermal
So the full blast hits my shields, damage gets reduced to 9000, which blow the hell out of my shields, but the shields soak 1745 of that leaving 7255 damage going to hit my armor. That damage then gets reduced to 507 when the armor resists are done, and it will completely blow through that as well, but not before soaking another 487. So the remaining 20 damage hits my hull, but the DCU absorbs 50% and i take a pitiful 10 points of hull damage... So much for a super weapon?
Now sure, i could be wrong in how damage overflow works, but this method makes sense to me.

37,500 EMP damage, shield will absorb 1745/(1-0.76) = 7271 damage, 30229 remaining. Armor will absorb 487/(1-0.93) = 6957 damage, 23272 remaining. With 50% hull resistance, you'd need about 12k structure to survive that. -- NMTZ forum |

Ah so you don't cut the damage down, rather you add HP to the tank... well that makes more sense really. Since blown away shields shouldn't help cut the damage down (which is what they do in my math).
So lets see... I'm sure i can make a Jag to survive that. I'll test..

34900 damage absorbed in shields, 6957 in armor. Tank wasted but still flying!
That could make for one nasty assault fleet... Bunch of high EMP (in the case of the Avatar) resist ships aproach enemies, cyno opens and DDD pops, but the assault fleet keeps on coming while the enemies are popping left and right... I can imagine what TS will sound like.

I belive testing on the test server has shown it has a special requirement making it titan only, im sure titans had a jump portal mounting reduction bonus originally aswell

No man, the titan gets a special -99% CPU req bonus for it. Its just not listed properly, just like how the carrier gets the -99% cpu req bonus for the drone control units.
EDIT: wtf, it actually is in the bonuses:

A fleet of wolfs could easily fly as a shock weapon even when someone fires off the Judgement...
400 RT, DCU and Armor EM Hardener II gives me 1758 armor at 96.9%... with that formula it could tank about 56,700 EM damage in its armor alone. If it rounds down to 96% it will still tank 43,950 EM damage.
I can just imagine the chaos in TS when the enemy fleet loses battleships left and right but these stupid little frigates keep on coming.
That is rather hilarious :)

The jump portal works fine people just don't know how to use it yet the process is this.
1 Form a gang with your fleet and titan 2 send gang member somewhere within 3.5LY (thats the range of the jump portal and at present theres no way to increase it) 3 get that gang member to pop up a cyno filed 4 right click his name in gang chat and select the bridge to option 5 watch pretty glowing efffect and get ships near the titan to right click the titan and select jump to [system name]
Fuel costs are taken from the titans cargo hold and differ depending on ship size and jump distance so jumping a freighter the full distance is expensive :)
Doomsday device can be fired like a smartbomb or remotely on a cyno in the same system not to a different system they also cannot be activated in low sec so people there are safe from titans unless they choose to snipe, the range is a lot less than 500km but i'm not sure ofn the exact range but get ascn to test it :)
