They do some pretty bizarre things in the Aridia 5/10 drone plexes (farming the first stage with a 10 day old Caracal pilot that we've killed numerous times), as well as actually running the things occasionally.
We've spanked them from time to time but there seems to be an infinite supply of year-odd old BS pilots about. They all have barely pronouncable non-capitalised names such as "xiao t" or "ganyu". A lot have been in and out of a corp called YZZLM (or YZLLM, can't remeber) although not all have. Most of them have sec status between -5 and 0 for some reason. When they say stuff on local (which is not often) it's complete broken nonsense such as "al fi asjk gjl". Not really sure what to make of them apart from saying "Yay easy kills!". - - - - - - - - - -

They're not running a macro that's advanced then..the ones we get seem to use one that adds you to their buddy list once you get tagged as hostile and as soon as you enter local it automatically logs you off. Therefore, the best way to get them is to keep rotating fresh people in on the patrols so you can keep killing them, but at some point you run out of new faces and it becomes extrememely difficult.

First I admit I have not read the whoe tread. But I would like to clarify the problem.
Is it that the isk farmers are in low sec/0.0 ratting
Or is it that they are using stabs and logging ?
If is the former those who did not see the problem when they were in empire know see the effects.
If it was the latter, I agree is unfare that NPC are using stabs and logging, this bug should be fixed as soon as possible.

It's definitely a farmer/sweatshop with a few people running all chars. After a couple of kills they usually warp to safe and cloak as soon as you enter local. They are all over Eve afaik.

Isn't this the strategy for a lot of REAL players though?
For some reason the fact that ~50% of the people replying to the thread fail to read and understand the point of the OP is hilarious. |

These guys are true zerglings, have seen them in action in a very similar game being lineage2... No matter how often you kill them camp a spot to try to stop them etc they just keep on coming back.... Time is nothing to them and you cannot cvamp them 24/7. Soon They will run automated scripts that will do things like log out when people show up in local so you cannot stop them only slow them down if you wanna waste your time. If you figure out a way to dent there farming they will find away around it, like soon they will just have 1 person manning the macro scripts to help assure they don;t die.
It is simple economics, and the more popular eve gets the and the more wacked out t2 prices stay the more demand for thier farmed ISK. Thus mroe and mroe come to farm, more and mroe learn better ways to farm. You cannot beat them they are the zerg...they could care less if you blow up 20 ravens to be honest as long as they are still making enough money to sell on ebay.... and they will because unlike you their little macro programs farm the game 23 HOURS a day EVERY DAY. After a while as sick as they make you you simply give up seeing there is no way to stop them... They will even get inventive sometimes and don;t be surprised if they find a way to fight back. Like soon they will farm with a few BS and a few frigs set up to smash inties. then you will have to waste not only your time to fark with thier farming but you will need 4-5 friends to waste their time to screw up there farming....
They ruins games, and developers NEVER EVER stop them. EVER. They are income to dev's but most importantly this is how theyu make BIG AND EASY money for where they live. This is big bucks to them, this is a game to you. You cannot win.

Originally by: Ikvar So, flying around Providence/Catch today I've found system after system with 1 - 4 noob corp members (mostly with Chinese names sadly) that are about 3 months (created the same day) old farming NPCs in Ravens. I managed to kill one (with 6 points of scram lol) and now they all safe and log when I come into local. Also a lot of them seem to have had a short stint in the corp 'HCIB Industrial'.
Anyone else witnessed anything like this?
Hmm, that is intereresting, A few months back I accused HCIB of harboring ISK Farmers, and ISS of harboring an ISK farmer corporation, they told me to F off and that I just wanted easy kills.
Looks like I was right.

This thread is so funny.... just 3 months ago we miners in empire were complaining about how the farmers are ruining ev for us.and the piwahtes(intentional) were flaming us "haha go get your omwtfbbqpwn mobile and stop crying!" and saying and telling us "how do you know they are macros?" now your saying that they are ruining your fun by useing your tactics against you. so all i wish to add is. here is a shoe for your other foot. lets see what you can do with them.. we have petitioned them and killed them and they only moved to you now. so know its your turn to do the same

I agree 100%. They ruined Lineage2 and if the same happens to EVE... well, let's hope it won't. At least they cannot 'outlevel' you here by farming 23/7. But they sure are an annoyance and they do ruin the economy.

A warning about the Xingue characters! The person controlling them has good english but is indeed a nasty little zerging farmer.
he managed to smooth talk two of his characters into my corp before i realised how many alts he has (thanks to this thread). Any corps with A Xingxue or X(number) character please kick them immediately - this guy is NOT kosher.
Got a few pod kills on him before he got the hint and left Pure Blind, apparently he is still at large in Vwenal/Tribute though.

We've seen these farmer types quite a bit in our aera. A corp of them moved into the aera, so we dec'd them and kindly asked them to leave. But they seem to be getting smarter, the current bunch are all from different corps and talk a little english. But they all fly similar ships and farm togther leaving some one in the fifth stage. ----------------------------------------------- EECC recuitment thread. |

hard to tell between some of the farmers and some of the macroers though.
Theres the obvious bots (like the Raven swarms) and then theres the typical ISK farmers. theres someone in my npc system 23/7, 11 months spent in the noob corp and barely comprehensible at all in the rare cases they do speak, also warps to a safespot and cloaks whenever someone enters local - but whenever they leave, they get right back to npcing. all day, every day...
ElvisINTER - Raven - Catch / Providence kill them pls :)

That's why I don't like China as a whole. They are like 1,3 Bil little yellow bacterias, crawling thru any slit. Not just ruining the fun of other peeps in games but copying and plagiating in RL economy as well. As a nation you become pretty fast unsympatic by doing so. I really don't understand them.

I'll give you another example, this one in high-sec.
I have been flying through a .5 system lately harassing a particular .. well I guess farmer. This dude was running 16 barges in an ice field. He would fly around with his Caracal and target me while I bumped his ships and cans just to tick him off.
Now, either he was a well off player and could afford all of those accounts, which in this case he wasn't really breaking any rules. Or he was using the ISK to buy timecards to basically play for free and run all those barges, which doesn't seem rather good for balance. Or lastly, he was a dang smart macro.
I did lose a rifter to the guy the first time ... lol I may have lost to a macro boss - I suk. |

As for those who are from Ekliptika.
We were warned by D2 that we had them, thoug the responsible leaders of that corp didnt see it in the first place. D2 gave names and so we were able to kick them out.
If anyone sees any people macro mining or whatever with an EKP ticker, then please tell us names. We are investigating this issue about macro miners of EKP in Venal. But these days macro miners are also smart enough not to use the same name anymore when creating characters
Props for ending your (apparently indvertant) affilliation with these elements.
It was macroers from your alliance I had run across in Tribute.
