People would do well to not expect the whole south to be at war in the matter of a few days. Before people made announcements of war as early as we've been doing, you didn't see wars develop into full scale fighting in a matter of days or even weeks either. Both the really big wars of the past took weeks or longer to get up to any speed, and months to spiral out of control into real 'great' wars.
If this is going to be another one of those, it'll take just as long before it can be recognised as such. I sure hope so tho, but we'll have to see.

How about we keep it simple:

as that is what this is all about, is it not?

Think Seleene already had a creative insight with naming it "Clash of the Titans" with a funny poster along with it. So in short the CooT war.
For it to be a Great Southern war, I believe more of the south should be involved, and that is yet to happen. Lets see what happens. Maybe it would only be Operation: Titan takedown. Let the future decide.

I thought this thread was about being creative. 'Clash of the titans' is used for a million other situations and is very very very over-used. Old, boring and clichT-like.
Let's see if it turns into a real war before naming it. It's stupid to give it a name and then see that it didn't live up to it.

Ok, this thread has run it's course. There were some interesting names and replies, as well as unneeded attacks.
I wasn't starting this thread as a discussion on "is this the start of war?" but was merely trying to stop the naming of this current situation as "the great southern war" as I've seen in so many threads all ready. It just annoyed me how uncreative and unimaginative those names were.
Now, I'm going to lock this and stop the derailment of this thread by those who want to argue if it's a war or not yet, that much I don't care about.
