My laptop runs EVE like a dream, the only time I get any graphical lag is in fleet battles, when lots of cargo (I mean lots, 1000s) are on screen, or gas clouds are abundent.
512MB RAM, ATi Mobility X700 128MB
Does the job perfectly.

Ati Mobility X1600, runs great, pretty much the equivalent of the GeForce GO 7600, which are comparable to last gen's X800 and GF 6800

I have:
Mobile Athlon 64 running at 2 GHz,
1,5 GB RAM,
ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 64 MB.
I run at 1280x800 resolution on max settings and the game only slows down in large battles and those green clouds that can be found in missions and stuff.
The GPU is the bottleneck here, but it's a bit overclocked. That's probably why it can handle the game just fine. And it's not like EVE has dx9 effects atm. At least I haven't noticed. That's good, actually. I don't have to scale down the graphic settings.

Have some GFX crashes rarely [weired pattern covers screen]

How long have you had it Presidente? Have you ever cleaned out the heat radiators in front of the fans? My 9300 was doing the exact same thing, I took it totally apart, to find out the fans were almost totally blocked (I'd had it about a year).
You can probably accomplish the same thing without taking the whole thing apart, by blowing compressed air in from the back....

my old laptop wich is a:

1.8ghz dothian cpu
9700pro mobile 128mb gx card ran eve just fine!
sadley my new macbook cant run eve (when it has windows booted on the virtual mashine)  but i dident expect it as it has a intel 950gm card something...
i would recomend a ati 600 card at least..

IBM T40 work laptop w/512MB w/ATI Mobility Radeon 9000, EVE runs like absolute crap. Weird graphics artifacts (i.e. missing hair and other strange things), and seconds per frame rather than FPS.

On the note of laptop graphics cards, has anyone been able to get eve to run on an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 ? I think that's the last of the mobilities that does not get support from the catalyst drivers, and my laptop manufacturer doesn't bother putting out an updated driver... EVE crashes the system right when it gets to the login screen.
Anyone have an idea?

I'm actually running EVE on a Radeon Xpress 200m. It works fine. Doesn't look particularly pretty, but it runs without issue, and I'm too poor for a new computer.

Got a mobility radeon 9000 in this comp, and, sadly, it's the best comp in the house.
Mostly because the others all shipped with Windows 95 on them. And it was new at the time.

I am running Eve on my laptop when i dont feel for moving from the couch :
1.7 mhz centrino
ATI Mobility radeon 9000 with omega drivers.
approx 1.6 giga ram
It runs nice and smooth. I dont see much more lag then on the stationary pc with 256 video card.
But when i run 2 simultaniously Eve sessions lag increases

I have ATI Mobility Radeon X300 (only 64M) and 1.8GHz intel on my laptop and it runs the game nicely if effects are turned off.

I'm using an ATI mobility 9000 atm and it runs fine as long unless it's very busy on screen (turn off all effects usually helps). processor is a Centrino 1.3 GHz and it runs fine though my desktop runs a bit smoother.

I do have a Fujitsu Amilo M, oldish stuff (1.6 GHz Pentium M, Intel integrated graphics controller with 512 MB RAM, shared with the graphics chip).
Works fine outside of the rush hour systems, though I've witnessed some odd things, such as from time to time my ship not showing on screen, and some portraits being messed up.
I guess newer cards should run EVE well.

I have an Asus VX1, can run two clients with no problems at all 
2GB ram with a T2500 processor and a Go7400 with 512MB. Any problems are server side....

I've run EVE with both a HP NC8000 and the HP NW8000, works great.
As long as you have 64 Mb graphic memory (more won't hurt what so ever) and pref. at least 512 Mb RAM you should do fine.

My utility laptop (what I use for scouting and carrier, and stuff):
Acer aspire 1350**
AMD-m 2300MHz or something
ATI 9200m
512MB RAM
Runs really well in 1024x768. As long as it's not too many ships on the screen shooting at each other it'll be above 20 fps. Normally runs at around 40 fps.
Two things to note here, though: 1. The graphics uses it's own memory and 2. I cannot recommend this laptop since it's weight and size are horrendous, and I believe most Aspire are similarly cumbersome.
Speaking of FPS, I can't for the life of me understand why my main, Ithildin, runs at 60 fps when my alts run steady at 75 (while they are all running on my main computer).

Eve works fine on my macbook with bootcamp.

I think my pretty old laptop has an M9 (is that the same as yours?) and runs Eve just fine. I have updated the drives but I think I used the Omega drivers rather than the Catalyst ones (unless they're the same thing) but I'll need to double-check this evening.

I run Even on two laptops and graphically it runs ok
The only problem is that I constantly lost connection to the server on my laptop. Now I have traceRT and pinged it, and both connections are good when running, and then bam, im disconnected. No warning, nothing...
And it only happens on my two laptops, not on my desktop machine at home. For that reason I never mission run on the laptops, as I dont wanna get disconnected mid mission specially if under attack.
My friend had exactly the same problem on his desktop machine, and he quit because CCP wouldnt fix it. And yes, Ive tried with the sound off, but it still disconnects.
Any ideas

I recently got a Dell Inspiron 9400 dual core with an ATI X1400 card. Eve runs very smooth, no problems at all.
