Love to mine, but hate to haul? Don't mind hauling but mining bores you to tears? Then get together with General Miners.
What we offer:
- Corp offices in over 20 empire systems, most all of which still have excellent mining.
- Free cruiser after 1 week trial.
- Basic skill books provided to get you trained.
- Advanced skill books available to officers.
- Shuttles, basic mods, drones and frigs soon to be setup at all offices.
- Fitted corp haulers to be provided at all mining events so you don't have to tug one for many jumps.
- Freelance atmosphere. No required duties for general members. Officers have some duties. (The more you participate the larger the rewards)
- Freighter hauling available when time permits.
- Corp to buy some minerals so you don't have to haul as much.
- Assistance in missions when no mining ops are active.
- POS owned, but not currently deployed. (Waiting for need to arise)
- Many corp BPOs in which to build ships, ammo, and mods.
What we want in a recruit:
- Mature, yet fun player.
- 15 days minimum membership.
- Mining oriented players. May recruit fighters for some lower sec ops.
- Some experienced players to become Officers and Directors. (Noobs can still attain this after being in corp for a while)
- Minimum of 1 Skill point! (If you don't have this, create a character)
- Ability to work as a team.
The corp does have goals, but needs more people to complete them.
HQ is in Gallente space (Arant - Quafe station) with many convienent systems within 4 jumps. Also have many hub offices within a few jumps of other popular systems.
US Eastern/Central time zone based, but accepting apps from any time zone.
We are currently working on standings to get Jump Clone service available also.

How many members do you have currently and how long have you been around? Do you have a corp calendar to list mining ops or do you do an evemail to members to let them know whats going on?

Currently about 7 actives with multiple accounts each. Usually send out EVE mails, but will have a calendar of events on the website soon, once it's rebuilt.
2-3 yrs for most of our members, so we got skillz and some resources. Just looking to grow.Currently tight and trusting, and want to keep it that way even when we get larger.
Have bardges, a coup[le exhumers and a freighter, so mining ops can travel and be large and productive. You can join our public channel GMINE to get to know us if you like.

Currently no minimum time ingame but you will have a 2 week minimum access to hangers if your account is under 15 days old.

Hiya,
Was interested in how you handle mining ops. Does everyone hit the roids and just jetcan together? I saw you mention corp haulers, does someone pick up all the ore and drop it off at the corp hanger? If so how do you distribute it? Is there a certain percentage that goes to the corp on each run? How often are running mining ops? Are you still largely eastern/central time based?

I'll reply to ya ingame and add you to my addy book. Mainly those time zones, but do have a pacific time zone player (Want to get a few more of those too) and a couple European, so we can pretty much have a mining op all the time somewhere. :) (Main goal anyway) Will eve mail you details on ore distribution.

If your new and would like to hang out with some other nice people then GMINE could be the place for you. We are small but growing with many possiblities open to us. If you dont just want to be a grunt with a large established corp and would rather be a part of a growing industrial corp drop Van a line.
I have been with them for a week and I love it. I now have access to corp cans in several roid fields, offices and corp hangers in well over 15 systems, some very experienced players to discuss my thoughts and ideas with as well as offer advice and it is so much more fun to mine in a group with others to talk to and joke with. If I want to study while mining I know I am safe if I'm with some corp mates. (Nothing worse than looking up from your book and realizing your getting slammed by some rats)
I get much more out of the game with these guys then I was getting by myself. Eve is a big world, dont experience it alone.

my current corp has slowed down quite considerably as of late and im posting on an alt as im not quite sure what to do. my corp is great but we are not as active in production as we once used to be. currently i have a nearly 13m sp main with a nearly 8m sp alt (2 accounts). my alt can fly itty 5's and with minimal training can fly an obelisk. he also can fly covetors and with minimal training fly exhumers, im currently training research skills on him as well. as for my main... he will have exhumers 5 done by the end of the year, has perfect refining, also has mining foreman & mining director 5, mining foreman mindlink and mining foreman links. able to do level 2 missions easily and able to do level 3 with minimal training. i have acess to all levels of missions and have nearly enough standing to aquire jumpclones. i am currently training my main for research and production and would like to eventually have my own obelisk and get into capital ship production.
i am a DEDICATED miner with both accounts. can haul with second as well. i am an East Coast player on evenings and weekends.. catually any time im not working or with my g/f. i operate mostly in verge and placis regions but can relocate. i am eager to find an active role in mining, research or production.
i do have a few questions. where does the majority of your corp operate? what does your corp produce? what are your future short and long term goals? and mostly.. how could i benefit your corp?

Nice to meet you,
Van is the man you want to speak with. He is in-game most evenings. I know we have a POS, we are just waiting to deploy it. We have setup a sunday afternoon/evening ice mining run near the Arant system in Essence. Most of our activity is based around Arant where our HQ is located. We do have offices in many other regions though. My pet project currently is setting up 5 or more corp cans in some of the roid fields in lesser populated systems in the Essence region.
Hope that answers a few of your questions. Please give VanDuran a convo ingame. He is an awesome guy.
