i'm having trouble getting in range of my targets when flying my bthron it just doesnt have the cap to use a mwd and minmitar ships are faster as it is... please help me.
I usualy let people come to me at the moment but that doesnt work.

press mwd and pray that its a noob toward you, with blaster cap consumable and overall slowness of gallente u can't get any decent target in range while loosing half of armor

Use a cap injector and pray. If minmatar ships are faster they are also using a mwd. And their cap is usually quite low to start with. So with a cap injector you should win that 'race'.

Use a large named cap booster with 800 charges.
This will allow you to MWD and still have plenty cap to kill the target (if they dont warp out b4 you get in range).

You can get a covert ops ship to give you an accurate warp in point so you land in blaster range.
But a cap injector + MWD should work. You might just need to train the skills to increase the MWD bonus and decrease the MWD cap usage. Navigation V would be a must as well.

Fit a 100MN MWD.
Fit a heavy capacitor injector, filled with cap booster 800 charges. Fill your hold with spares (probably only about 12 will fit).
Hoon it towards them, at full belt, injecting to keep your cap at the point where you don't just die. Gank them.
