I just ran my first lvl2 mission. It was "Human Cattle". In the last mission (5) of the series, in the last "room" or area, do the bad guys have webbers or warp core scramblers?? When I first went in and engaged/got engaged it seems like I coudn't move. I was immobolized. Thank god for my cap booster and plenty of charges or I wouldn't have survived. I was just stuck in one spot for awhile firing away. My drones saved my arse also. After a time I was able to move around and had to warp to a safe spot to recharge and repair.
The next time I went in I had loaded a warp core stab. I didn;t have the same problem when I re-engaged the second time.
Do they have warp core scramblers or webbers?

If you dont move but can warp out than they dont use warp scramblers, if you can fly arround but cant warp out than they use warp scramblers.
Dont know the mission but I think they use webbers instead of scramblers. Good luck . Seriously Have I Not Said How I Can Assist Some One You Are Killing Online? |

There are several lvl 2s where you can expect to be webbed and/or scrambled. IIRC those were 'delta' support frigs in that area (maybe gammas) and again iirc those do web. If in doubt about what happened I'd recommend checking one of the npc ship databases that are around to see what the capabilities of the ships you were fighting were.

I know about stabs but not about "anti-webbers"
So what's the defense against being webbed?

There are two webbers in the third pocket. If you really weren't moving at all though--0m/s--that sounds like a bug.
Best defence against webbers is to kill the webbers. :P Longer range attacks or using a web oneself are the usual ways. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Two webbers can get you down to single digit m/sec (like in lev 4 duo mission) and to a first-timer that can seem like not moving.

When I ran the mission (in my Rupture), what I noticed was that if you attacked the support frigates, they'd MWD to you and just orbit, but if you sat there and let them automatically attack you, they will web. Could just be a coincidence though, because the first time I ran it I got webbed, but never got webber afterwards.
