It was not Axiom, but ASCN.
And I no longer give a damn what anyone thinks.
They are -10 which means if we see them, they get shot. It doesn't mean we're going to head down south and help anyone. I just can no longer justify telling my pilots to hold fire when the other side cannot keep their torpedoes and whatever to themselves.
As for the rest, if someone pays me to care about this big war, then I'll give a damn and Hugh will say something. Otherwise, have fun with the lag.

The overreactions, assumptions and just plain absurdity of some of the posts in this thread seem to be the result of either panic or ignorance.
Right now, this is a pro-active self-defense measure that can be reversed eventually if certain people would stop trying to enforce their version of the truth over the reality of the situation, which is:
It's very simple - when you see a Hugh banner, that means we intend to attack ASCN or AXE on your own ground. Otherwise, stay away from us and we'll stay away from you.
I've nothing further to say here. Cyvok, you can expect a personal email from me later today.

Welsh, nice post so I'll use it to make a few points. I know I said I was done with this but, screw it. I'm bored at work.

That's just the problem - we're nowhere near AXE / ASCN space. We're not in Stain. We're in Providence. We have been for nearly two weeks.

As an entity, I find BoB to be pretty much like any other 'enthusiastic' alliance. Overall, I don't really like or dislike them. I do, however, like a few of the actual people in BoB. Dianabolic, Blacklight and Galavet are straight shooters who have never failed to give me a straight answer to any question I've ever asked.
This is probably one of the main reasons our outposts are in Period Basis and not Feythobolis or Vale of the Silent, etc... In fact, since the original conversation with BoB's leadership that closed this issue, I don't think it's been brought up again since.
Say what you want about BoB - there is no grey area and you always know where you stand. I know even Celest appreciates that.

Agreed. That post caught everyone in the MC by surprise because we had no idea why ASCN would even be worried about us at the time. We'd had mutual blue standings for a while now. In fact, I kept ASCN at +5 even after Cyvok's post to make damn sure my pilots did NOT push this issue over the edge.

I think it's safe to say that it rules out ASCN or AXE as a potential contractor but, beyond that, it really has no efect on us right now.

I actually did not want to make this thread, but too many people within my alliance were fed up with the rampant paranoia and false interpretation of our actions. Regardless, the BoB / ASCN war is still very much their own until someone either pays MC to care or some kind of offensive escalation takes place that MC cannot ignore.
