We're talking about it now and was wondering what the length, format, type, etc. can it be live people, just in game stuff, issues with music overlays, etc? Basically what are the rules.

While it's true that a lot of the people in Eve speak English, and that shows like EVE TV are mostly done in English, there was really no reason to troll those that don't speak it well or at all. It was enough to just say that you require people to be fluent in English, it was not necessary to ridicule the rest with allusions that they speak 'in long-lost tongues'. Just sayin'.

Also, video promo's given away to people who watch eve tv. Such as a random commercial that gives a code for a free plex, or ship skin, or free neural remap, etc. actually build it into the commercial time.

If you want to be really clever. Make it a corporation alliance promo that corporations and alliances can do. Such as at the bottom of their ad, have a little scroller noting the giveaway this corporation is doing, type in this code to receive a gift.

The gifts are handed to ccp from the corporations beforehand.
The code to type in is generated by ccp.

The code is added sporadically to the corporations promotion ad (so they can't themselves predictably redeem their own gifts).

By doing it this way, you don't add anything new to the economy of eve that already doesn't exist in game.

I would put a minimum cap of at least 10 giveaways per corporation, max 200. Minimum giveaway cost or worth is 50 million isk. So for a corporation to do this type of promo, they have to theoretically hand in, at a minimum, 500,000,000 million worth of ISk or items to cover their minimum 10 giveaways.

Up to 200 just to keep corporation and alliance spam of codes to a minimum, and to give people more options.

There is no cap on how much it can be. If you want, you could do a give away of 10 codes and each code is worth 50 billion isk. It's up to the corporations.

The corporations, once filed with ccp, can announce that randomly throughout the stream, they will be giving away x stuff, and to look for their corporation or alliance ads on the stream.

You basically give the players a way to give to the watchers of eve and self promote both themselves and eve online.

Notes: just to keep it fair, the corporation cannot build their own giveaway into the ads, ccp will overlay the giveaway code appropriate to each corporate ad, so corporations cannot snipe their own ads.
