Nebulai ISD AURORA Interstellar Services Department	Posted - 2006.10.07 09:54:00 - [1] Hi all, I have some news regarding the ongoing Tetrimon Unfortunately it seems certain corporations have managed to obtain inside information pertaining to our plans for the Arc. This has effectivly ended 11 months of planning by our senior producers for the Tetrimon and also CoC event arcs (and an associate as of yet 'unknown' arc that was due to start). This is an extremely disappointing development not only for Aurora, but also for those of you taking part in these events and who didn't receive this information. The information released was never intended to be aired in a public light and as such should not of been at all - certainly not to base assumptions off. I'm also slightly disappointed that this corporation in question choose to act on the data as opposed to realising what was happening was wrong. We have now effectivly killed of these Arc's - being given no choice in the matter. We may or may not revisit them, however it will require significant re-planning to do so. The producers in question are debating how to proceed. I'm sorry this has happened, and on behalf of the rest of Aurora I apologise to those this affects. I'm not entirely on the ball on what is going on here. Someone explain? An arc is like a season in a tv-show or the whole TV show. So an Arc is our case a series of events, news ideas, stories and plots that unfold in parts of EVE. In this case it is more like someone leaking the script for say the new Star Trek series or the next 3-4 seasons when 2 have been aired and the show is due to that reason closed. Obviously, this means things will have to be put on hold, or maybe even cancelled. But since we know this is important to many of you, and of course to us as well, we will do our best to save as much as possible and hopefully changes can be made so the events can go ahead, even if changed so the leaked information won't allow anyone to cheat. There will be an ending to Tetrimon, just something totally different then what was originally planned (with huge plots, backstabbing, ceremonies, important missions ran by loyalists and all other things you expect from Amarrians when they have a big political war and fight for support that would take months to reach a conclusion). The storyline will get another ending now. I hope you can find a new end that still is satisfying your original intentions. Unfinished arcs are the worse decision. Sadly I have to say that no other ending will be as satisfying then the one arc we had planned (it would have been huge and ground breaking, too bad you won't see it ingame). The air has went out totally from the team handling the Tetrimon and Cult of Catechization since hundreds of planning hours now have to be scrapped. There will be an ending though. Just way different.

We have taken action against the primaries in this incident and will continue to monitor the situation. I want to impress upon the community the severity of this incident. There were breaches of Non-Disclosure Agreements, the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Service. Lost man-hours number in the thousands and repair of the damage done will take even more time. Due to CCP's non-disclosure and privacy policies, we will not reveal the names of those involved, nor the actions taken against them, so please do not ask. It is unfortunate that actions need to be taken against players who feel the need to bend or outright break rules, contracts and/or agreements. Oh and Golan I love your sig and can't wait until I am good enough to defend the gallenten ideals with lasers and battleships ;) I think those NPC attacks on the bases were CCP's way of writing the Tertrimon out of the story, so to speak. CCP had nothing to do with that (except providing us with an awsome game to event in). The assault was all AURORA run, so is the rest of the arc.
