I see in updates more 'static missions'
Please - I know you guys are aware of the problems with these right?
Example, temple stones. Soon as word gets out 'where' these are dropped (read static) people camp there and kill anything that pops up.
So you get the 'special static mission' and poof you've already failed it since there are already people there. OR you can pay 20 million for the loot they just took.
Please tell me
1) you are aware of all the problems with missions and the market (you know, people living in the 'lucky' time zones can monopolize items...cough superconductors... and those say in Australia.... Screwed due to the way the market does orders)
2) you guys are taking that into consideration and developing missions that can be completed
Missions can be fun and boring - but when you are held captive because the missions are STATIC and people can just sit in those places, that ruins it completely.

Its really not his problem but problem of those that play this game.
People in this game have probably the lamest attitude about this game and probably others and are just looking for the way to grief somebody in some way.
And they are doing good job at that.
There is no mission or anything else that can be designed and that people don't want to abuse it.
Like in current case where people are camping those spots and not doing missions.

If there's only one or a few of these places and they make for good 'farming' too that is a problem, with PKs hanging around there to kill everyone showing up.

Most of the new scenario missions (which come in with the next patch) spawn the item when you open the container (you might have to wipe out the npc guards first though).
The temple stone missions are different since they have a specific spawn timer, which is unrelated to the mission.

I like it. Every form of new content adds to the game. Sure people are able to exploit it in different ways, but, rigth now, new content is quite urgent (Imo). |

It's good to see you are putting some intelligence into this Z. Thank you.
One follow-up thing - please make the 'places' random so people can't just 'sit' there and ruin it for you.

Speaking of spawns - what I would love to see are not quite random spawns, but slowly moving spawns. Say, once a week, or once a month, the spawn locations get reset.
RP: Pirates aren't stupid. If their secret gathering points are so well-known that the moment they "pop out of warp", there's already a missile on the way, they're going to move camp.
Gameplay: This will encourage exploration - can't rely on a static spawn list - and keep the big alliances in 0.0 space on their toes. Big spawns will become more valuable, and finding them will become a continual job, keeping the explorers engaged. This will also introduce an element of randomness into the currently zero-sum alliances game.

I would hardly call those of us living in Australia "lucky".
The Daily Downtime occurs during 9-10:00pm (AEST) which would otherwise be peak playing time for most of us.
However, apart from that i agree with your post.

The Sloth.
