Those clowns running around doing that are (a) engaging in NON consentual PVP even if its against a POS tower which is against the rules and (b) potentially preventing people testing out manufacturing, pos setups, ships and all sorts of other things. Both these should result in a ban.

For starters, you've got to claim sovereignty somewhere and its got to be somewhere close to a station with components (or you freighter them around, either way you have to be near a station of some description or you dread jump components to your cap building pos). On top of that, you've got 2500 10k m3 components to haul, asuming you've got a hauler with 30k+ m3 of space, thats nearly 900 hauls. Add onto that you'll have to do at least 1 jump to get to your sovereign system. Its no small amount of effort.

I guess when you add it all up, its a minimum 5 days for sovereignty, then "haul time" (60+ man hours), then 28 days for it to pop out the array. Thats assuming (Also) that the test server doesnt take a dive for an extended period and your pos runs out of fuel (not an entirely unlikely scenario) Having said all that i'd be heaps happier for a new mirror than a mothership about now;)

Its not impossible to build one as long as we get like 10 people to work at it organized though Still it would take a bit of time Btw anyone know if its possible to just start a alliance and put it over to someone that doesent have the skills for it(Oh wait that would be 1337 h4x)? Oh and soverignity at least dont need anyone to do anything except keeping a pos online

Oh and soverignity at least dont need anyone to do anything except keeping a pos online While ccp would definitely not boost you up to being able to "own" an aliance, i would imagine they probably wouldnt be too put-out to letting you start a corp and join one of the test aliances they have floating around the server. Especially if they are keen for people to test something like this. Thats my guess anyways. The old fight club used to be a corp we all joined, so I cant see them being terribly put out by allow you to do something like it.
