It is really fun reading CYVOK's blogs and seeing the stuff that he actually spouts at us. The latest blog describes us all as "no life quakekiddies" He says he has seen some of us being logged in for 12 hours at the time. But answer me this then dear CYVOK: did you have a webcam pointed at said individual all the time? Could he possibly have gone afk for a while? and how could you tell he was online for 12 hours unless you also were online for 12 hours? wich would in effect make you just as bad as you describe us. I could post the blog in its entirety and pick it apart one sentence at the time, but instead I'm just gonna address what pretty much shocked me and insulted my person. The simple truth is that you're debating the contents of a blog off the ASCN forums. You guys fight with your people spying on our boards and on our fleets in our teamspeak server. You COULD do without either (or even just one) very easily but you choose to keep the out of game advantage (which you somehow justify as a part of eve). Why? Why do BOB, the almighty PVP force, need to use spies out of game to get advantages inside EVE? Fair fights not your thing perhaps? Thus, I'm sorry if I'm cynical with the rest of ASCN about honest fair play in BOB.

As I explained to Butter Dog in another thread (might even be this one but I cba looking), it comes down to a difference of opinion on what Eve is. And to what degree a communications or organisational tool used in direct and close combination with this game can ever constitute an "out of game mechanic". Also, if you doubt that ASCN uses spies on us as much as we use them on you you are not much better off then Cyvok. Suspicion turns into paranoia when you see ghosts behind every tree, or in every TS channel for that matter. And yes, we discuss a blog from the ASCN forums here. Don't you think we have the right to bring this into a domain where we can discuss it in presence of the ASCN members he is so blatantly lying to ? If he would jsut be telling you that he thinks we are braggards and that reality is not as we portray it to be here, chances are we would have let it alone. However, this is beyond decency. You can have qualms about invading someone's privacy, but then you should have as many if not more reservations about baseless accusations of foul play. Fact #2 We had a spy on TS when someone from ASCN was reading up the Channel Commanders and numbers from our TS. So how on earth are we playing any more "unfair" then you ? I mean dont fault us for actually having better spies then you :P No big secret that we use spies, everyone in EvE that knows BoB knows it. How on earth do you think the EC-P8R op happened ? The MAJOR issue is Teamspeak. The simple fact is YOU use spies, we don't. You feel the need to have this advantage yet we do not. As the war goes on, you remember that.
