Cnayou sell BPs you copy?
Where do new BPs come from?
What are limitations of a copied BP?

Copy 1 means it is a blueprint copy.
A copy of a blueprint cant be improved (researched).
New blueprints are introduced through pirate loot or market.

Can a copy be copied? Can all BPs be sold? What is researched?

You cant produce a copy from a copy, yes you can sell your BP's copies or originals although I believe copies have to be traded rather than on the market.
Things researched are like mineral efficiency, reducing required amount for making an item and productivity I.e time taken to make a batch.. etc

All blueprints you buy from NPCs are originals.
You can research and copy them and trade the copies on the player - player market (but not the NPC market)
Some BPs are not on the market and are (rare!) pirate drops :)

Calling it the 'PC market' is kind of misleading. The Market in stations has goods bought and sold by both NPCs and PCs.
What people are referring to when they talk about selling rare or unmarketable items on the 'PC market' is doing informal trades. You can arrange these on various chat channels or in the forums. Quite a few items that pirates drop give an error stating that the SCC has not yet approved the item for public sale if you try to sell them on the regular Market, so selling by word of mouth is the only way to sell or buy then.

Just to clear things up a little, BP copies currently cannot be sold on the Market - thus, all BPs you purchase from the Market will be originals.

*sigh* To any n00b who reads: This is an old thread. I get the impression, from reading this, that they forgot to really clarify the difference between a copy and original; not only that, this thread gives several false impressions.
