Hi !
Last week end i decided to switch from my railgun setup to a blaster/mwd setup. After testing it successfully on belt rats, i decided to go back to my agent and try it in some missions. I did 2 missions actually, and each time i wanted to activate my MWD, i got a message saying that some "natural phenomenon" prevent me from using it. I already got this message once; i add bookmarked a roid in the 2nd zone of a mission and got the message when i tried to warp to it from the 3rd zone. But this time i was just trying to activate my MWD, which is just a big AB to me.
So my question is, did i spent all this time raising my AB and navigation skills to lvl4 for nothing, or is it a bug ? Actually it's not really for nothing since all my ships are now moving faster and i can equip a tech II AB, but that's not really what i wanted

The problem is that your missions are in deadspace...and most deadspace regions don't allow the use of warp drives at all.

Yes, deadspace is your problem. Virtually all missions are in deadspace now. That's when you have to activate those acceleration gates to get to the first rooms.
Any bookmark set up in deadspace will only take you back to the entrance at the first acceleraction gate. You also cannot activate MWDs inside them.
Afterburners will work fine, as will all other modules I'm aware of.

You will still be happy you trained MWDs, just not for missions. Travelling and PvP they're extremely useful. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

You'll be thankful that MWD doesn't work if you ever get a deadspace mission in low sec. There are some pirates that will find the mission area with a scan probe and crash the party. No MWD means you have far more time to warp out, if the pirate ship is bigger than your ship can handle.
