A 5 run copy for the 2nd prize ( DCU-II BPC ) would be in the same order of magnitude of goods granted as the other 2 prizes.

This is just one guy talking, but ... So what if someone wins the phat lewt lotto? It's not going to take any isk out of my wallet. In fact, it's more likely to get a lot of "I MUST HAVE THE BEST!!!1" types to spend vast sums of cash for "rare" modules that will become decidedly less rare when enterprising individuals start "inventing" things.
I say let the lucky winner(s) go nuts sucking ISK away from those who have so much cash to spend that they're willing to pay obscene rates for modules that are a tiiiiiny bit better than what they can get for relatively little.

And not only that, one of the items isn't even in the damn game - you just released a 100-run bpc of an item that was only given out to a select few as a reward in an event.

A lot of people often say stuff like this doesn't effect their game. To that I've got to say that this is a MMORPG... not only is it a MMORPG, but it's a MMORPG with only one server. Anything anyone does effects everyone else. I personally don't like having my game connected with real life achievements of anyone.
