i never have ctd. my system: amd 3800+ x2 cpu msi k8n ne4 mainboard ati 1900xtx gpu 4Gb of memory creative x-fi xtreme-music sound card(THAT is tha problem. *****-*****-*****) fsp 550W ppu
if u have ctd then check ur memory, some module can be broken, even brand name. dual chanel also can cause many problems. if u have overclocked ur system then just pray . i can say only one, there is NO problem whith dual core and eve client.

Does l3VGV have an SLI board ?
no my board is not SLI. if there msi neo have troubles i dont kno what to think in my corp not only me using x2, and there all fine
if u ready to lose warenty then upgrade bios(litle chance it will fix some rare bug)
my drivers ar 6.09 for video and 6.86_nforce_win2kxp_international_whql for mainboard. dx version is 9.0c August 2006. hope it will help.
also to test ur dual core drivers u can run that program: Linkage
it must show 'ur system is perfect', otherway u have trubles with core syncronization(drivers is needed to fix it).

Can you be specific about your board type. Msi K8N Neo is an nForce 3 not Nforce 4. K8n Neo4 is nforce 4 SLI. So maybe your board is nforce 3 and the culprit is the nforce4 chipset ?
k8n neo4-fi nF4 Ultra

It seems to me there is a problem occuring here with alot of AMD duelcore and SLI systems, I can run eve better on my other system (amd 3400+) than i can with my gaming rig. Tonight i will be messing around with a fresh install of eve to try and find a way to get better fps and stop the left hand side icons from totally disapearing. If everyone wants to press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+M in game and see if you are getting any packet calls remaining under the network option. Even if everything is running fine it doesn warrent this >>>
OMG 2 grand on a pc just to play with fps/lag nice work ccp.
Whine over........
omg, pls remove image and post tha link on it. answer of poor perfomance on ur dual core u can find here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909944/en-us
