WarDec'd Now What?

Fitz VonHeise	Posted - 2006.10.10 00:55:00 - [1] Our young corp. has been WarDec'd (See: æThe Magnificent SevenÆ Pirate Hunters) Our CEO has been looking for Pirate Hunters or basically mercenaries that we could hire to kill these guys but everyone says "They are in the building stage". He has gone out and bought CCP time cards and traded them in for 1b ISK to make a war chest and will make more if needed. He is using this to buy war materials to build stuff. What else would youÆ all suggest?

Felio	Posted - 2006.10.10 00:59:00 - [3] use alts to sell/buy/haul your stuff around, make sure you have instants and safespots all around the areas you operate in and basicly just live it out. If you don't give them much kill opportunities they will get bored and go find new targets.

But the above is the best suggestion. Fight them. -Build alot of tech 1 frigs and cruisers, swarm their hac's and bs's. -Store ammo and ships all over, so you can dock and change ships. -Attack them, take the fight to their home systems. Keep them locked in a station. -Use locater agents, make notes, look at their trends. Where do they mine? Where do they mission, gate camp, NPC? Attack these places. -Practice techniques and tactics, get used to pvp. For every HAC you kill you can lose 50 cruisers and still come out ahead. These pirates are probably not THAT good if they are deccing small corps, either that or they are really bored. The elite ones are expensive but effective. Or use your billion to practice PvP with those guys. Gang up and don't fall for the 'you have no honor as you refuse to launch into five of us alone' crap. Ignore the smacktalk. Don't smack back - silence is more unnerving. Use blanket electronic warfare to **** them off. Jam them till their eyes bleed :P

Yet when it comes down to fighting, you all cower in stations even when vastly outnumbering us. If your corp wants to fight, you know where to find us. And while we have about the same number players as they, the average "age" of their people are 8-10 months while ours are 3 months and most of us are miners/industry. They sent a spy into our corp before they WarDec'd us and now know most of our alts. So they have been using disposible ships and killing them even in high space to stop our economy. Hence the 1B Isk Warchest. How much would it cost to hire mercenaries to come and kill these guys?

I'm sure one of the regular whorum fores will dig it up soon. For starters. 1) Find out more about them. Look on their websites for members (one is listed in the corp description of one of the guys warring you) - Add members to your address book so you can see them in local. 2) Dont fly around afk or in big stuff. Make it hard and annoying for them to catch you. Engage on your terms with liberal doses of ecm and cheap ship. 3) Have fun, its a game The CEO of one of the corps is 10 months old and has been in 15 corps. He has he attention span of a goldfish. Don't squeal, make it un-interesting and he'll find other places to be.

It's an alliance of mercs. Even if you cant hire them all, often time single corps will take contracts. I have hired them, I have fought against them. Good folks, and always win. Kia Corp is a good group of mercs as well. Kiaeddz is the leader and the man you want to talk to. BDCI is good as well, not sure what thier status is. There are lots of semi evil, or totally evil corps you could contact as well who may fight for the right amount of isk. Fight fire with fire. Some may take a contract, some may laugh at you. Cant hurt to ask. Cosmic Fusion Outbreak Celestial Apocalypse S.A.S. Penetrate All great corps, great peeps, incredible pvpers. If you truly wanted to make a deal with the devil you could try the infamous Burn EdenÖ. They make entire alliances froth at the mouth and scream incoherently. Peruse the Alliances forums. I believe there may be a sticky of Mercenaries for Hire there. If not, there should be. Hire mercs to fight your war and watch your money be sucked from your wallet while you cower in a station. Fight them yourselves and watch your self respect and your combat experience grow tremendously. Why pay mercs when you can spend that money on ships and clones and learn from it? And most importantly, have fun? Self-confidence is a good thing.

Though This subject needs clarification. 3 weeks ago, one of our directors got convoed by a guy named 'Klingonempire' (or something similar). He was threathening with a wardec and with huuge alliances coming to smite us down if we didn't leave our 'home' region (the sytems we hang out in). 1 more 'incident' would bring all hell upon us. So ofc, we incidented asap and suncide bombed a Seraphim Industries covetor in high sec just to see what would happen. Nothing happened, and intrigued we moved a spy inside Seraphim Industries, and what we found was rather astonishing ^^. These guys had been stalking us for about 4 months, which in itself is cool to be taken such intrest in. All sort of plans had been concoted to gank us in low sec, wardecs, hidden cargocontainers, safespots, basicly all sorts of preparation to start a war against us. We decided that it had gone on long enough though, and we decced, with total annihilation of this threath to us in mind. They haven't fought us yet though, but we got some when they move between stations. Lets just say we expected 'more' from them, but hey. And now we are getting the ususal: "Help, we are helpless little lams being eaten by the big bad wolf, aaaaah, aaaah, aaaah, help, we did nothing, nothing at all to provoke this, aaah, help"... Anyway, I would be honored to have the MC wardec us. If I ever looked up to an alliance and its corps, its them. Its to bad any merc contract will sprout from real dollars, not from game isk. For that's what it is... a GAME. QFT Not what i should have done but you have to give some credit to actually want to fight them and trying to get the resources to do so and not hide in station or disband. But don't spent your isk on mercs but use it to buy cheap frigs and cruisers nice mixed fleet of BB, rifters and cellestisses etc would be a pain in the butt for Hac and BS-ses fleet. Try to enjoy yourselfs and it is not a shame to loose ships. Don't know if you guys got TS or something else its a good time to setup one up. Nothing worse then loosing a ship while type in gangchat, x is primary, y is secundairy tec. Cheers, Jan

Our home system and their home systems are pretty close to each other, only 2-4 jumps to get to anywhere either of us operate -Use locater agents, make notes, look at their trends. We don't mine, run missions in various places, gate camp systems that they are in, and we NPC inside of missions to lower our security and make money. -Practice techniques and tactics, get used to pvp. These pirates are probably not THAT good if they are deccing small corps, either that or they are really bored. Threats of a war dec and finding out that they have been planning to dec us anyway is our reason for deccing them. War is fun, its Eve. Yes, very fun. Hopefully Seraphim Industrys will engage us sometime. If they want to know where we are and if we want to fight they can probably ask any of us, although I can't speak for everyone. I'm also quite flattered and also suprised that their CEO would spend about 100$ US dollars to purchase ISK to use against us.
