That poor cat is probably scared out of its wits, in the vet clinic.

It is, btw.
That sort of action is reportable as animal abuse, after all. Even though they didnt come anywhere to touching the animal, the animal still felt threatened and is in fear of it's life from whatever object the vet was holding up at him.
I say burn the vet.

poor kitty! i don't really like cats (backstabbing basteds) but that one is really scared to death and you can see it

I hate to think what has happened to that poor cat to make it act like that.

I think the cat should sue the **** out of that camera. A million dollar settlement isnt unrealistic in this case.

Poor animal.
It is evidently terrified. That hissing and ears back is just classic threat reaction, The poor thing is in a strange cage, with strange people and smells. It can't run and hide so it is just squaring up to a threat.
My little monster was an abused animal from a rescue place. She gets just as cranky when she has to go to the vets. At home she is the cutest thing going. Never more than 15 foot away from me. Sits on the bath when I shave, sits by the fridge when I cook, and pretty much always asleep on either missus Hof or I. Take her to the vets and she transforms into a demon, embarrasing when you are sitting in reception with a tiny cat that growls at strangers.
Dr Hof's perscription in this case is a nice bowl of tuna, a nice blanket to sit on and a stick with a feather on the end.

same here.
heck my cat can get pretty annoyed when she goes to the vet, and all that because she was scared by a dog once.
other than that, at home she's a bit of a misfit, but there are worse cats.
