Hmmm, perhaps there was something in that Quafe he drank afterall. Then again, perhaps not. Ive probably missed news regarding the release of the summer tourney DvD but im guessing there most likely will be one for Decembers too?

Only having 24 points is quite a challange, teams fielding Faction BS are going to be severely gimp in the other ships they will be able to field.
I think this could turn out quite interesting.

As long as Farjung doesn't bring his vindicator, create a one man alliance, and then solo the tournament we should be OK.
Allowing ECM will basically mean anyone who manages to fit a rook into thier team will win...
Should be good though.

Well, what I did in the summer was organised parties/gatherings at my mates place to watch the comp on his living room tv (hooked up to his spare pc). Find people who live nearby and see about making a party of it! It's always more fun to watch with other Eve players.
Throw in some beers, a few mates - it becomes the Eve World Cup!
Of course, this idea only works if you don't live in Antarctica...

I do demand the return of Al Haquis for a guest appearance couch and commentator role, but for the full effect - the profanity filter must be lifted for the voice commentry :)

I can understand how you could think this last time, but the new rules have thrown everything well up in the air. Uber tanking skills and implants won't have such a big effect this time around.
I can see there being a problem tho. How are the commentators supposed to know who is being jammed, dampened or tracking disrupted. They often had trouble clarifying who was nossing who etc last time around (not really their fault). CCP must do something to give the commentators and EVE-TV viewers a greater idea of whats going on in this respect.

i imagine one of the db guys can rustle up a quick sql query which can display the damage/effect transactions for the system maybe which could be interpreted back to char name from char id, it would be a rough adapted node logging tool but in theory should work, just depends on if you can get a dev to do it for you :)
I guess another way would be the flash grid messages you get in pop ups like 'x has started to warp scramble y', the a dev to modify so it reports to grid all dmg effects maybe or at least to those with the client enabled.

I've thought about this a while, but as Xod said, it could be just fact.
I think, depending on how people setup their fleets and being an ewar specialist, I might have an edge, but that could be slim. The best thing you can do in such circumstances is to say what you see, or don't. Some ships are more predetermined towards ewar than others and you learn to identify certain traits in an ewar-heavy battle, as I'm sure Shin is aware of, being an abuser of ewar like me
I guess I'll be told what's happening soon about that.

This will be the 2nd EveTV broadcast. The first was an audio only broadcast by Eve Radio back at the end of December 2005.
