(Announcer) Dooot dooot do dooot doo do... (bum bum bum) Welcome to the Eve News Network evening report!
Tonight! - Shocking developments in the Galente elections! - Caldari Navy officials stunned by recent pirate incursions into Jita! - And a report from the ORE syndicate: Roids, our friends? Or disasters waiting to strike a planet near you!?
But first! Startling news has emerged from one of the most respected Amarr Capsuleer forces. For more, we turn to our chief CVA correspondant Ivanna Pocilips live on the Amarrian Frontier!
(Cut to correspondant, standing in front of a seedy spaceport bar in IH.)
Ivanna: Yes, Dave, that's right. Here on the Frontier, Concord patrols are rare, and even rarer still are areas of space safe for the average Joe Q. Miner.
(Cut to scene of single CVA Zealot blasting away a few pesky pirates)
Ivanna: In recent years, however, a group of pod pilots and their followers, loyal to the Amarr Empire, have carved a safe haven out of this lawless space, prying it from the cold dead fingers of the pirates who once called this place home.
(Cut to stock footage of Aralis)
Ivanna: But recently, the figure who has led these brave men and women for so long, known in political circles as Aralis, has stepped down from as leader of the CVA. After years of successful leadership, he announced his decision earlier today from his penthouse suite on that bastion of law, the CVA station "Inflatable House". Many have questioned this move, given the current instabilities in the region, and many more have questioned the ability of anyone else in the organization to fill his position. We, however, have managed to interview several members of the CVA... here is what they had to say:
(Cut to picture of a bunny frolicking in a meadow) (Cut back to correspondant)
Ivanna: We uh, seem to be experiencing technical difficulties with our footage...
(Cut to picture of Vantras' baby years)
Ivanna: -muffled off camera cursing and the sound of blows-
(Cut back to slightly dishevled correspondant)
Ivanna: Here is what one CVA pilot, who requested to remain anonymous had to say about the sudden move:
(cut to interview of silhouette)
Ivanna: Is this as much a surprise inside the CVA as it is to all of us watching from the safety of empire?
Unnamed pilot: Oh, helllllllll no. Aralis has fiery hot blood in his viens. We've nick-named him Rambo after a few of his more exciting ventures... Some of us figure he's stepped down to get his hands dirty again. You know, dispense some of that "hard hitting diplomacy" he's known for. -chuckle-
Ivanna: You mean combat?
Unnamed pilot: Did I say combat? I don't think anyone said anything about combat. We here at the CVA are all about diplomacy. And mining. We're big into mining. -chuckle-
(cut to correspondant)
Ivanna: A new leader has already been named within the CVA, but that information is not being released at this time. With the CVA keeping their internal affairs... internal... we can only speculate as to who will rise to power in Aralis' place. For now, we can only wait. Back to you Dave!
(cut back to newsroom)
Announcer: Moving on to other news...

CVA ANNOUNCEMENT
The Curatores Veritatis Alliance (CVA) would like to confirm that Aralis, CEO of Imperial Dreams, is stepping down as leader of the alliance. Sidyous, CEO of the Auctoritan Syndicate, will be taking over the role in an orderly transfer of power.
Sidyous has been a long term Amarr loyalist having previously served with PIE Inc before setting up his own loyalist organisation. Under his leadership Auctoritan Syndicate have become one of the strongest members of the CVA and their pilots are at the forefront of CVA activities.
Aralis' decision to step down was taken to reduce some of his massive workload. He will now be concentrating on his role as CEO of Imperial Dreams, the CVA's most populous corporation.
Commenting on his new position Sidyous said, "I am extremely grateful to Aralis and my colleagues in the CVA for the opportunity to lead this fantastic alliance. Have no doubt that the CVA shall remain commited to its Amarrian roots. We shall stay true to our friends, and will continue our work combating Minmatar terrorists as well as our work in the 'Deliverance' region - extending Amarrian civilisation and law and order to 0.0 space. Amarr Victor."

Sepherim went out of the room smiling. The meeting had been hard, but he had obtained what he had been searching for. Reorganizing the Ordo would take more work than he though, specially now that most comm channels remained silent for long terms. A beep interrupted his thoughts, and a small window open in front of him, retransmitting the news hit. The computer, programmed to scan all the news in GalNet and choose those of importance, had not been wrong with this one.
He couldn't help but wonder what changes might bring into the podpilots community in space such a big change. Specially for the Amarrian loyalists like himself. T wasn't a small thing preciseelu.
-Computer, compose an official congratulations message to the new CEO of CVA. Send the greetings of the Ordo to him, and our offer to work together for the best of Amarr. God prevail!-
On the last command, the computer closed the window and sent out the message. After that, Sepherim headed to the bar, he well deserved a drink. --------------------- One Empire, One Emperor, One Faith, One Amarr... A Whole Universe Under One rule. Keter of the Ordo Quaesitoris. |

I wish Sidyous good luck as the new CVA executor. I could understand why Aralis has stepped down, I'm sure he hasn't ever had time to himself for months. I hope he stays with you guys.

Aralis is loyal to his very essence and will always remain within CVA along with his corporation Imperial Dreams.

But it is kinda false advertising, you might want to change the title.
It's called parody. Unless your reports regularly include frolicking bunnies and Vantras's baby pictures, I don't think there's much danger of anyone confusing this with your bastion of pod journalism. Plus, you'll notice the headline was prefaced with [NEWS RELEASE], a surefire indication this came from someone doing PR and is not an actual news report.
Just to clear things up, here's a disclaimer:
THE NEWS BULLETIN THAT BEGINS THIS THREAD IS A TONGUE-IN-CHEEK ATTEMPT AT ANNOUNCING THE CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP AT CVA AND IS NOT IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE REAL EVE NEWS NETWORK
No slaver hounds were harmed in the making of this announcement.
As Oscar Wilde said, The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. It's part of being the big media in our little corner of the galaxy.
Some people just don't know when they're being complimented.

Hoorah CVA. Sometimes a change of leadership is a good thing. Sid will have no trouble taking over a strong entity like CVA.
As for Aralis, Enjoy your Retirment!

hehehe a bit defensive there?
The only reason i even posted was due to people asking me why i had a reporter in the CVA giving CVA reports. If i hadn't posted people would still be asking me.

I cannot speak for NOS of course but CVA space remains open for neutrals to operate in as long as they abide by the anti piracy rules in place.
