I have written to CCP several times over the last several days about some problems that I have had and have never received a reply. Granted that I did sent one problem to the wrong place, the bug report place. But I sent in a problem 2 days ago and a petition on a different problem 11 hours ago and not a reply. I did file that petition from ingame so maybe that is not the way to do it. I don't know.
HELLO!! Is anyone home? Granted that I am on the trial run but I did spend 30 bucks on the game last week and, until recently, have planned on playing long term. But this beats the cake.
I have read their rules and they requested to not air problems out in the forums but if they aren't replying then how does one address their grevances. Is there another way that someone knows about? What about during the game? Is this one way to get and keep customers? To p**s them off? Anybody have any ideas? ------------------------- EVE of Destruction |

they do reply. just be patient. ive gotten as far as getting a namechange and replacing a CEO that quit. took about 1.5 weeks on the first one, and 2 weeks on the second one.

Don't take it personally. I was a Beta Tester since Alpha 6 and have been playing retail since May 5th. I submitted a "Stuck" Character bug a week ago. Started Log server started the program and ran it for a couple minutes, then submitted it with another logfile of a CTD. Never heard from them. Had to do a reinstall of the game to solve the Problem. Today I received a "How did we do?" email. So you may get a response it may just take awhile.

OK thanks. I deleted the game and reinstalled it. That took care of many of the error windows that I had in the game. But yesterday I bought a skill, clicked on Train and then it disappeared. It is not in assets, in any other station, its not anywhere. My wallet shows that I spent the 500K but no Minmatar Cruiser skill to be found. I barely started so that 500K is about 30% of my total worth. I want to get that skill but am now afraid to try for another one. Am I doomed to frigates all of my life????? ------------------------- EVE of Destruction |

hehe, its in your char skill list. Open your char up and hit the skills tab. Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

'Tis training....if you want help with small things such as that, just head on over to the help channel in-game. ------------------

It should be obvious to you guys that I would know who to train since you need to have several skills just to train a cruiser skill. It's just not there. And as for the help channel, I asked for help about 5 times last night with no answer. Maybe if I capitalize it and send it every 30 seconds... Truth is Darzeb, it wasn't training, I change my training every day and it isn't there. But a bigger issue is the total lack of customer service as reported in the new review listed on another link. I still have 2 weeks to decide if I continue this game and it looks like I won't now. I just wish I could get my $30 back for buying into this stupid game in the first place. ------------------------- EVE of Destruction |

It is there, ya just cant see it.
Go over to www.eve-i.com and get "EVEDude" (its a program). Use that to wipee the cache and other stuff that invariably fixes all usch bugs (prefs ini whatever)
Also try using the "New citizens" and "known workarounds" forums as all this sort of stuff is already in there (Just the rocket scientists at CCP didnt think of a 'search' function )

The only other thing i can remember about the "vanishing skills bug" is that often they re-appear after downtime.
Used to happen a lot but as im not training new skills anymore I kind of assumed it had been fixed.. its an old-old-old-old bug.
