After watching the darkempire.wmv about 100 times, dreaming and hoping for the day i my self will be part of pvp. I was hoping any of you have more videos of pvp fight. If its 1vs1 or more dont mather.

I once made a Battlefield 1942 movie... I'm thinking of making one of EVE too. Dont know when i'll do that... but who knows.
I am thinking of the following for the short term: Playing EVE, capturing that and streaming it to a Windows Media server...
People can then watch me in action when they are at work hehe :) Though i'm only a high-end npc killer atm.

In a short term our corporation will get a new member (colegue of mine) who got hardware recording options on his video card.
Im sure that we can arange something since we hunt enough on a weekly base to give you 5 minutes of fun ;)
However, you can also join a corporation who is active and who hunts or fights. There are enough pirate corporations out there, but this will bring you into a possition where you have to fight all the time. Peace isnt assured.
Pirates hunters are a good alternative or a corporation with alot of wars going on (TTI :P Techell.  )
Either way there are 1000's of corporations out there, im sure there is one who can help you out to get that Dream come true.

ahh yes the dark empire vid nice, not the greatist quality but a very nice war display.
though some of the best videos have been counterstrike vids and you can get great quality.

I would like to know how powerful your comp has to be to record on the fly using Fraps.
I got a Overclocked AMD 1200Mhz and it always smells like its burning.

This is actually Archain's third big movie. You might remember SI using a rather interesting tactic some time ago to camp gates in empire space(no it wasnt jamming sentries). Archain made a movie of this aswell. I have no clue where to find that movie atm though.

I play on a p3 733Mhz , GF TI4600 and 1gb ram. I have no problem with laging when i jump in. The one time Posix killed me when i jumped in i got a threat warning before his first hit. and i saw all three hits that he killed me with. (Still im looking forward to the new gaming comp i have decided to buy, insted of a new server )
Indigo, i really would like to see them, is this fellow a friend of you ?

Yeah he's in my corp :P
The other movies are called "The 0.4 Experiment" and "Battleship Row". I'm not sure where you can find em though, because Arch had some problem with bandwidth and stuff on his own hosting.

i got a p4 1.8 ghz with a stupid gf2 and a stupid 1 gb ram and fraps only gives me a 10 -12 on the counter  .

Archain posted his computer specs...
they are quite monstrous to get that quality.
3.2ghz, raid, 1 gig ram, top end Ge-force card... probably in the 4,000$ range for what he listed...
after seeing how smoothly his machine handled all those missles + fraps, I'm going to upgrade.
My little 1.1 ghz machine just don't hang with the big boyz anymore.
And I was in that battle... I was heavily lagged and I thought it was network, but now I think it was all the missles... My machine was trying to cope with drawing so many of them.
Archain, you do man too... just want to say. Love the video... I've even showed it to people who don't know what eve is, and they say "where can I get me some of dat..."
CCP should pay you...

really the best res you need for vids is 640x480, also for eve a touch of gamma would make brighter and more easy on the eyes. just a few tips for budding spielbergs

Hmmm... i'd do more research if i were you.
There is no need to have a high-end pc if you have a second pc with a capture card, just clone the screen and record that using S-video or something similar.

Fraps is also very useful for catching grid exploiters.

Lol, it just shows how ignorant you are.
Or were you actually there? Do you know who those ships/pods were? Are you sure they were not a member of a corp we are at war with? Are you sure they did not talk smack to us in local? Are you sure thay didnt try to run the blocade earlier?
Bottom line is, we try to stop ships and get money for pasage but many times that is just not possible. For example, if I ever see you I will make sure you make the trip to your cloning facility, even if you offer to pay.
