The CCP Customer Support comes with exciting news about an unusual competition: become the first EVE player to decorate CCPGÇÖs office in Reykjavik!
If you manage to convince the art judges of the Customer support team, then your art work will decorate part of the CCP office! This event ends on April 30th, so you should have quite a bit of time to create your finest art! Preview images not larger than 5 MB can be sent to [email protected].

Any submitted entry not winning the contest will be put on permanent display at the nearby Icelandic Phallological Museum (Laugavegur 116, 105 Reykjavik).
Because we already know what it will be the main theme of most entries.

I will refrain from submitting. In the odd chance any horrible concoction I created would actually win, I would be held responsible for the strange bewilderment it most probably would induce in the GM's. No thanks....

Absolutely, I already vote for this! But you have to include more people's faces this time. I never found any of my characters in the last one. 
I find that without a good mob to provide one for them, most people would have no mentality at all.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

If you win you'd probably want to receive the goodies so submitting personal information would be the way to go, however if people choose to submit entries without the necessary information with the intent to follow-up after the fact then they do so at their own risk should we be unable to finalise this information when it comes to naming the winning pieces and delivering swag.

Just read the Devblog and opened Photoshop to mess around a bit, to see, if i can come up with something...
One idea came to mind and i made a quick mockup, to see how it looks.
And now i have to read here, that Chribba already did some similar stuff...

I'm just kidding . You did some awesome stuff there.
Anyway, since i don't want to be called a copycat, i'll drop that idea and leave the portraits artwork to you and just agree with:

An Avatar. On the other hand I never knew customer support had an office, can't discuss why obviously....but 2 months.....decorate it with fire.
Edit: not that I blame them but maybe it'll spread to where management is.

It would benefit the final product to provide some specifics about the printing equipment. There's also a nuance of RGB and CMYK you might not be awaer of.
The exact DPI and appropriate ICC profiles are what are needed. I can assume the DPI is 300, and the print material is vinyl, but that doesn't give me the best feeling while working on something for tens of hours.
Print is done in CMYK, and monitors use RGB. There is a color shift that happens when converting RGB to CMYK. I plan to use PDF, since that is the only choice of the three entry formats that can be saved in CMYK. But. As for PNG and JPG, the final product will not reflect what the artist intended, after undergoing the color shift from RGB to CMYK.
DPI and ICC Profile of the printer. The print company should have this info.

As a Creative Dir. I'm glad someone has already asked about the printing specs (high five to Rain6637!) I've participated in several "call for entries" online including the depiction of the Slaughtering of BearWhale, bitcoin art presented on Reddit by ShapeShift.io in which my preference was creating a mixed media (watercolor/ink) piece of art rather than doing it all digitally (obviously a personal preference). This method opened up the option for the original piece of art to be purchased for display as opposed to only having a digital original.
Super stoked for the opportunity CCP! Been waiting for something like this since day 1.

The specifications thus far where requested by our printing partner and art team and represent the minimum spec, however we are certainly open to collaborating on the best image specifications and file type with the winners during the printing process.
We cant' accept TiFF as previews, and it is important we stick with the standard file types for now in order to ensure the images can be shared internally without file size or software issues.
