This tbh. Especially the text is way to small in many places. And the background in the posts is to bright imo, it should be like the box I'm writing this text in. |

#1 + #3 are easy
#1 - resize your browser window, worked perfectly for me ;)
#3 - try ctrl-+ on a Win or cmd-+ on a Mac (Increase font size ;) ) |

I want to be able to favorite channels. Having the new player forums mixed in with General Discussion and 10 other topics i am not interested in day to day is annoying. This would also solve all the to many channels issue.

Don't suppose we could get a button that cycles through all Dev/GM posts in a thread? In large threads a Dev marker isn't really enough  .
I know we have extensive search features now, but this would be more convenient. |

People like to complain, but the old forums seriously needed to die. There are a couple of things that could be fixed, but I already like the functionality of these forums much better. |

Why didn't the new forums advise me to log onto eve gate when I tried to access the forums, instead of giving me the stupid planck stabilizer error? Im in luck I figured it out without any help.. Not excessively hard, but it would be nice for the forums themselves to give me a hint.
edit: especially when following links from the old forums and getting the planck stabilizer error.. |

Middle clicking opens the thread on both a new tab, and in the current, at least on chrome,
so I have to right click -> open in new tab.
However much this adheres to the EVE UI guidelines (right click to do anything, even if 1 click would have been enough),
it is inconsistent with just about 100% of the other websites I use.
Also, I'm having a hard time believing porting the old forums was not possible, if Chribba could, then so can you.
They are also much less stealthy than the old ones where I could get a forum post width of 200pixels,
I need the full >800 pixels to read a post here, that's pretty lame.
Otherwise, yeah, I guess they look fancier than the old ones, whatever. |

I really can't be arsed with hunting down a cached copy of all the faults with the test two version, all of which seem to stil apply, so I dearly hope you've save that feedback thread.
Oh, and the signature setting doesn't work GÇö that's a new one since the test version. |

I'm liking the large pictures, new toys like the quick reply, etc. The integrated stuff... well you might even get me to use this spacebook thing, although not very likely. But please drop the fixed width! Forum could also do with a bit of a diet with all the vertical spacing. Almost everyone uses a widescreen monitor these days, most of them like their horizontal space used effectively and vertical space used sparingly.
edit: oh, and these popup thingies on a board index? I'd appreciate it if those were killed at some point, preferably with fire... |

Good: Finally there is a sig break line.
Good: 4000 character limit increased to 6000.
Good: "Top" arrow in lower left of page.
Adjustable number of posts per page would be nice.
More contrast would be good also, light grey text on medium grey background isn't so great. The contrast of the box you type replies into is excellent.
No option to display character race/bloodline. With the old portraits it was easy to tell, not as easy with the new ones. |

I don't really like to complain about anything, but to be completelly honest - I liked many things more on the old forum.
- These are harder to read and additinal eye candy and all kinds of layout tweaks take too much space and are cluttered.
- Old forum had better colorset.
- Old forums had eve mainpage links on left side... this doesnt have them.
- Old forums top left EVE logo redirected to EVE main page... now it redirects to EVE gate page. There is no link to main page.
- New forums are hard linked to EVE gate which is totally useless at least to me.
- Going to page X on some topic has much less visible links available than before. I don't want to type the page I want to go to.
- Old forum marked clearly the topics I've recently visited. This doesn't.
- New quoting layout and system is horrible.
... and so on.
If I could do what I want, the new forums would go to lockdown and old forums would replace them right about... now. |

I hate this format. It's too much candy, harder to read, slow and certainly harder to find stuff in.
Is there an option for changing our choice to the more classic format, or are we all stuck with stupid smerf XP type crap.
I know that used to be possible with some forums.
Kids might like this stuff, but I don't. |

Very nice forum, I like when it's simple :)
One thing though the post text feel a little bit too condensed which makes readability a little bit hard at times. A little bit more font spacing and lines spacing would really be great.
PS : why didn t the designers of the forum use transparent png for the background like the original ui of the game. I'm a big fan of your background artworks and I find it sad that this beautiful forum background is hidden behind a lot of grey, because it's 100% usable as text background.
Here is how it would look like if the forum used a semi transparent black background, and to be honest not only does it looks more like the in game ui, but it looks better too
