Two TP's are adequate. As for Torps, Javelins for long range, CN for close in. Use whatever is strong vs rats. If you have to kill structures, just take a 100 or so t1 torps.

The point also is that you're not properly skilled enough to run the mission in the first place in a BS. So yeah, a smaller ship can work, but perversely, only if you're already decently skilled in the first place.
