Let's say i need to switch my rails to blasters in space. Use mobile depot i need to:
1) Open fitting window
2) repeat 4 times: hover mouse over gun, in menu choose 'unload', accept message about group
3) select guns in cargo, drop into fitting window
4) group guns to make 2 groups (i use 2 groups because ...)
5) close fitting window
Wanted to ask: if there is something i can do to make it faster?

cannot: first drag from the cell makes ammo out, only after you can drag gun itself

well... you gave me an idea: to check drag-drop outside of fitting window. Yes, this way all the ammo can be unloaded with 1 operation and guns can be put into cargohold easier.

refitting in space is indeed a bit cumbersome, however it is also quite powerful.
I have empty slots on my thingy, so I can drag and drop from there. my inventory sits right next to the thingy (I should really know what that's called) so I have short drags to/from inventory to slots.

As an alternative to drag and drop you could also right click "Unload to Cargo" to get the ammo out of the way. |

regroup the guns in space and just use one group
Depot is a great thing for EVE. I'm so glad they did it.
Has anyone tried the 'saved fittings' feature with a depot?

Doesn't work when trying to refit that way for me already tried that one few days ago. |
