My first request is completely new Harbinger/Absolution...
This ship's models AND textures are some of the worst still in the game. The 3D model is GOD awful, and the textures are just as bad. It's really, really disgusting to look at. I'd post screenshots of the lol-spinning I was doing to get footage of this horrible ship model, but I'm not at home right now
So first thing's first, redesign the Harbinger and Absolution with all new model and textures, just like the Maller (and any other ships? Punisher?) got.
(Honestly I think the Prophecy needs it too)
(LOL just looked at the web-based Ship viewer and a. they don't even have the Harbinger listed under Amarr BCs, and b. the Absolution is showing the old Prophecy based model. Harbi model is so ugly CCP won't even display it in their ship viewer for new players to see =D )
What other Amarr ships need the graphics love? |

could've had that ship for Absolution... I think the battle buzzard just needs to be lengthier and leaner -a more predatory look.

I'd be down for a harby redesign. and for sure the abso deserves more!
I remember the harbinger was one of the first amarr ships I tried to fly, I couldn't really ever seem to find a use for it, and was always iffy on the design. pretty meh on it these days.

The Harbinger (with a nod to the Aeon as close second) is definitely the worst Amarr ship in the game. It is also one of the worst Battle Cruisers considering the fact that across the board the BC's are pretty strong with all the races.
I wouldn't mind them completely changing the Harbinger model or keeping the overall silhouette like they did with the Maller but upping the poly count and tweaking the parts that don't work.
But you keep your grubby paws off the Prophecy. The only thing it needs is a poly count freshen up and a drone bay. The model itself is as iconic as the Rifter or Avatar and needs to stay the same.

No no no, you get me wrong...
First of all, I agree that the Prophecy general shape is cool and doesn't need changed. LIke you said, at most it needs a higher poly count, at least just new high res textures (all of EVE needs new high-res textures).
But the Harbi/Abso... I'm not saying change the design. Just rebuild the model with new polygons and new textures. I don't mind the overall shape/look of it. Just the current god awful polygon shapes and horrible textures. |

Yeah I could go either way with the Harbinger. Wouldn't mind if they completely revamped it and wouldn't mind if they kept the same general shape and just made it look better. But I think even if they kept the general shape there are some issues with the bottom of the ship. A weird sort of flatness that doesn't work for me. |

Amarrian ships are gorgeous. You are definitely not alone in that. I see people complimenting the Amarrian fleet more than any other in the game.
The Harbinger however, falls short. |

I've said on more than one occasion that the only thing I don't like about the Prophecy is it's a bit too squat/fat. Either make it a bit longer, or less tall.

The harbinger is actually one of my favorites, for one it is feasible that the center of thrust is aligned with the center of mass. This is something I think all ships in this game should do. I don't really care about symmetry but thrusters tacked to one side of the ship erks me a lot..... I'm looking at you slasher. and the "wings" give it an aesthetic of an old school bomber.

You guys are crazy :P The hulls that are in most need of a redesign are the Arbitrator and Aeon. I mean come on, these ships are only half built :S |

I mentioned the Aeon in my first post in the thread but I agree with you about the Arbitrator. I think the Harbinger is slightly worse looking but the Arb doesn't even really fit in with the rest of the Amarr fleet. I would totally redesign it from top to bottom and save nothing of its original design. |

The prophecy is one of the best looking hull designs in the game imo, it could do with some touch-ups but that would be about it. |

I agree, the Maller is the worst looking Amarrian ship in eve, along with the revamped crucifier and prophecy.
The original Maller was sexy, and it fit in with the rest of the Amarrian ships.
Only way I cant accept these recent changes is if they are tying it with the drifters/Jove lore |

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, overall the Prophecy is fine. It's a bit too squat/fat for my preferences. Slim it down just a touch by either reducing its height or increasing its length.

I thoroughly dislike the Harb since Asgeir showed us the concept drawings, it's just nasty imo. |

I like new a LOT more. But I don't like either that much.
New could look heavier and tankier. With it's big windows it almost looks like an oversized frigate. It's pretty similar to the punisher actually.

Waat! ..the arbitrator? It looks like an expensive luxury yacht and an elegant one I might add, I agree %100 about the Aeon but seriously OP needs to take a peek at some other races ships... %80 of Minmatar ships still have 2008 textures + 2004 models. Amarr have shining gold all over em now, upgrade to any Nvidia GTX graphics card and see their mirror finishes in full glory. Compared to reality Minmatar would definitely be the Russian military today using equipment from 1964. I mainly fly minmatar and even I can't bear to look at anything T1 under a BS without cringing (aside from the Rifter).. Whereas gallente went from "joe dirt's space-poopy" to all Chromed & Sexy in the past couple patches.
