Don't be stupid. Of course CCP care. This game is their baby, it's what pays their mortgages, it's their life blood. Have you even looked at the sticky posts this week? You know about the stress testing and the new hardware yes?

I don't mind waiting. What concerns me is the potential for getting thumped while you're waiting to jump through the gate.
What *should* happen,IMHO, in an ideal world, is that when you're in range to jump, you automatically cloak (and to avoid exploiting, can no longer see what's happening by the gate, perhaps) while the countdown is occurring... even if you can't 'leave' that holding pattern from that point.

Yes, apparently the gate going into the completely empty system in 0.0 today was really really busy, the poor guy at the traffic control probably fell asleep from boredom at the gate controls with a donut in one hand and cold coffee in the other, snoring away with drool shorting out the interface preventing us from continuing on.
My corpmate and I were #1 and #2 in queue for jump. Despite hitting the "jump" button so many times I thought my AI was going to reach through my capsule and strangle me to death, we ended up waiting for 18 minutes orbiting the gate lazily, consistently being promised that we were #1 and #2 in the queue, and really, HONESTLY we were going to get to jump ANY MINUTE NOW. For 18 minutes. :)
