I just recently switched computers due to problems with my old one, and when i start up eve all of the text in the game is extremely blurry and some letters dont appear, its very strange and i have no idea why its doing this , it really sucks because i cant read anything in the chatrooms or my mail or anything, but all of the other graphics come out perfectly, i tried changing the font size and resolution but it didn't help, and i tried changing settings for my computer, anyone know what's wrong or also have this problem and can help? |

i couldnt rele get a great screenshot, to describe it tho it looked like jst vertical and horizontal lines....here is a picture of it, doesnt rele show it tho

It's really hard to see from those pictures, but if your problem is blocky unreadable text then that's almost always a sign either a) the graphics chip in your computer is not powerful enough to play Eve, or b) you need to update the graphics drivers. |

If you're using a flat-screen monitor,try setting the in-game resolution to match the native resolution of the monitor.

I had the same issue on my wifes laptop (Dont you dare tell her I installed eve on it.)
It was as stated..an issue with the resolution not matching the lcd monitor. (It has the fancy widescrean monitor...turning on the eve widescreen actually helped a bit too..but setting matching resolution was the real fix)

also, i went to options for my monitor and how do i find if i have the right driver? i clicked update driver and it didnt do anything it jst said the installation wizard could not find a more recent version

to be able to help you I need a few things...
1) Make/Model of your video card
2) Current set resolution
3) Current driver number for your video card
4) Make/Model of your LCD/Monitor
