No, there isn't a notification when you remove all roles. Others can see what roles you have however, so if they look at it every day they will notice it before you leave. Wich brings forth an ohter question. If you revoke all roles to leave the corp and the CEO notices it and just grants you a new role. What then? Can you still leave the corp or do you again have to revoke all roles and wait anew for 24 hours?

You should send a corp mail telling everyone you are leaving, so they won't add your roles back and make you wait another 24 hr.

It is an exploit for a CEO to grant roles after someone has removed them for the purpose of preventing them from leaving the corp and, as such, should be petitioned.

Edited by: Scetrov on 16/10/2006 16:56:07 Depending on how the corp works, (f.ex. time based progression through ranks) the CEO or a director may change your title or roles. Alternately they may use the corp interface to update everyone's roles within the corporation to reflect a change to policy or procedure.
As such I will echo the recommendation that you inform your corp you are leaving before or soon after you remove all roles. --

That is the answer I was looking for, not that I have that problem. But it is quite possible.
And I agree on everyone, notify you corp of leaving. If you want to share the reasons or not is your own decision, though I would share them at least with a few higher ranked inside the corp so they at least know what has gone wrong and why you felt for leaving the corp.

On the letting the CEO know you're going .. it's also just plain polite.
