I find it distressing that the grand inquisitor would seek to bully and strong arm the royal knights into compliance with mandates from the theology council, an entity which holds no sovereignty over loyal citizens of the kingdom.
As a child I dreamed of serving in the great golden fleet as a warrior in the name of God. The empire has ever been at the forefront of the crusade against godlessness and the foul taint of heresy, and I have been proud to be a part of that legacy.
However, the beliefs of the kingdom have ever differed from those of the empire and our differances have been accepted by one another. In light of Azador Kavian's clarification of his admittedly heated sermon I would be disappointed were it to come to pass that the grand inquisitor could not see clear to forego this "witch burning" in lieu of a more tolerant outcome.
Although I strongly disagree with Azador's remarks towards our brothers in the empire, I would hope that the officers of PIE respect the laws and processes granted by our own and withdraw their ultimatum.

With this talk of ultimatums and wars it is clear that the situation has garnered some severe overreaction. I would sincerely suggest that the officers of PIE and KHAN step back a moment and view the situation with cooler heads. Imagine if you will the smiles that must be on the faces of our mutual enemies as the see this rift grow wider with each additional insult.
Should this incident result in bloodshed it can only be a victory for those who would benefit from driving a wedge between those loyal to God. Surely both sides are suffering from an over indulgence of pride at the moment and need to set their hurt egos and foolish notions aside and look at the bigger picture.

Well stated Azador. While I may disagree with your opinions of our brothers in faith, I applaud the humility you have displayed by hopefully putting this issue to rest with your apology.
No doubt the philosophical debate will continue, but perhaps now it can be free of bravado and veiled insults concerning our respective dogmas.
