you missed that they were upped by CCP to keep trial account alts from spamming you with bad things like pron and ISK sales

should be 10000 but just short of 3000 is fine (less ISK spamming ive noticed)

yes, right click one of the eve mail tabs and change the value in there
not absolutely certain, games down atm, but its in that region

Yep, open your Evemail, rightclick on where it says "Inbox" and goto Settings. You can make it upto what ..100k? Something like that. Thats also where you can whitelist a corp so they don't get charged.

yeah up to 100000 ISK it seems - to post mail in NPC corps is 1 Billion ISK (some have done it to)

i prefer to have the CSPA quite high (or atleast standar value) .. and all people you might have regular contact with (like allies in gangs, friends and so on) are on my allowed list
keeps the spammer away and everyone else happy (if he's on your allowed list ... good thing is .. you can add alliances/corps to this list)

Yep, actually you can whitelist entire alliances if you so desire. I have my alliance and all our 'friendly' alliances whitelisted. Also have the 'neutral non-hostile' corps that operate around my 0.0 home whitelisted to so that they can warn me if something gets hot in the area (not that I expect them to... but if the urge ever hit them I'd hate for them to get charged 100,000)

Don't mean to dissapoint you, but YOU don't recieve any money from a CSPA charge- it all goes down the big ISK sink in the sky.
