To be fair the answer to the question "Did the Caldari liberate Caldari Prime or occupy it?" is a lot more complicated than either Diana Kim or Liam would give it credit.

A more accurate answer would be that the Caldari liberated Caldari Prime while occupying the Luminaire system. People have jokingly suggested that the only fully acceptable resolution to the current situation with Caldari Prime would be to cause it to be bodily removed from the Luminaire system and replaced with an alternate planet of equal value! Since we cannot seem to build a Jumpgate large enough to move a planet, nor engines efficient enough to propel one to said Jumpgate, it seems we're doomed to a compromise solution.

The question "Did the Caldari occupy or liberate Caldari Prime?" is a dangerous question, since it resolves itself to an answer that must be unacceptable to either one or the other of the two involved parties. It would be better if such questions were never asked - since their answers lead only to further rounds of conflict with no end in sight.

Here are a list of what I consider to be better questions:

1. Are there any circumstances under which the Caldari people would be willing to share Caldari Prime with Gallentean people?
2. Are there any circumstances under which the Gallentean people are unwilling to surrender property they own on Caldari Prime to State control?
3. Is there any way for the Federal government to return control of Caldari Prime to the State without ceding any right to the control of the Luminaire system to the State?
4. How do we guarantee that the rights of Gallentean citizens who own property on Caldari Prime are respected when that property is transferred from Federal control to State control?
5. How do we handle a situation where a Gallentean citizen does not wish to surrender ownership of property they own on Caldari Prime when control of that property is transferred from the Federation to the State where that Gallentean citizen is unwilling to live under State jurisdiction?

It would be a fruitful discussion.

And if you don't like my conception about shared solar system, I have an alternative. I would like this alternative better, since you owned system for about 200 years, now we can own it whole as Caldari for the next 200 years. And only after that amount of time when length of our ownership will match yours, it will become shared. That will be way more justly.

There is one interesting thing to note about my current associates.

I fly with people of all backgrounds. Amarr, Matari, Caldari, Feds, whatever. We all pull together to get done what we need to get done. To those that are faithful, we share our faith and celebrate it. Those of other spiritual practices do whatever it is they do. Those of no faith, don't bug or get bugged by the people that do have faith. "Solidarity" is good for business.

We discuss politics, but it's a very different process when you're on the outside. Mostly we just chuckle. There's a much bigger picture and you can't see it, if all you're looking at is your own little corner.
