Well, my favorites are at the moment maybe these:
1) Amon Tobin, Very nice combining of many layers of samples and instruments together, making it sound like Drum and Bass/Ambient/Electronica, you have to hear it yourself to understand
The second one is a bit tougher to choose
2)K-Os, A great rapper, you can clearly separate this from the mainstream rappers by just listening to the words of this guy

Mushroomhead - i may be partial bc im by cleveland Ohio where they originated but ther music has very deep meaning for me

(2) The Pillows
If I could mention more, they would include but not be limited to Coldplay, Boards of Canada, Air, Interpol, Moby, Frank Sinatra, A Tribe Called Quest, Sage Francis, Fat Jon, DJ Krush, DJ Shadow, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Jamiroquai, Radiohead, St. Germain, Keiko Matsui, Aphex Twin.
