Achieving equality is the galaxies only means of continuation. It is a force that you could imagine is the age of the universe.
Scientifically, energy equality is only achieved upon Total Entropic Heatdeath of the Universe. This seems Unwise, and not conducive to continuing a Galaxy.
More practically, equality has never been achieved. Not by humans. Ever. Please point out a civilization to have accomplished this so I can bellow with the appropriate level of guffaws.
